This novel was as pleasant a surprise as the first. As funny, and maybe even more thrilling, but in completely different ways. Most of my favorite (no spoiler) of these unusual suspects are back with a vengeance, and all the new quirky and menancing characters make it just as entertaining as the first, but in a completely different way.
Some of the descriptions and situations left me laughing out loud. And then I would go back and find even more to laugh about layered in. Slatter somehow manages to be in your face and dry at the same time. Another easy but highly entertaining read. I’ll definitely keep reading.

Really enjoyed the first book Burn and I'm halfway through Rock Solid and had to stop and write this review because I LOVE IT if not as much more then the first! A must read.
