    An army brat recently turned Michigan local. I graduated from BYU with Bachelors in History Teaching and Sociology and a minor in Chemistry Education in 3 1/2 years. A feat possible because I started college with the credits of a Sophomore (thank you AP tests). I enjoyed all my classes, but I think I loved the act of learning most. My books are a reflection of that. They all have an educational element that would help my kids, students and offspring, understand everything from utilizing word chunks (Kindergartners Read) to principles of chemistry (Poetical Reactions).       Beyond the Sonnet - Stephanie Neilan

      Poems are about expression. The rules don’t matter as much as the feelings. For this reason, new poems, with new definitions and rules, are constantly being created as variations of traditional poems are explored. This collection includes over 120 different poetry forms. (And that's after I excluded ones based primarily on theme!) Some sites I pulled from while compiling my list included shadowpoetry.com, writersdigest.com, poetryfoundation.org, and poets.org. Whether you choose to rhyme and have a specific meter for your poem or not, there is a poetry style out there to justify your choice.
