About this ebook
The McBride series can be read as stand alone novels. Follow the story of Blue, the third son of Jace and Clarissa as he avoid the trap of marriage only to end up chasing his own asylum for being crazy in love with his wife.
Clarissa arranged a marriage for her son, Blue, with her friend's daughter, Dionne. After discovering this, Blue was in a fit of rage and refused to be tied up into a loveless relationship. Not that he ever desired to be tied up at all. This caused heated argument between mother and son. Their Provocation was put to backseat. Good news! Dionne eloped with another man. But Blue was yet free of the shackles of marriage. There still was the sister, Denise.
Denise was in love with someone else. Armed with that fact, Blue used this to manipulate Denise to agree with the sham of marriage in exchange of him showing her how to win her man's heart. One year of marriage. A year of teaching seduction 101. His Provocation would be launched. It's a win-win situation. Blue was convinced it's a very viable plot. A connivance. A trap. They both agreed.
But...
Only a few months into their wedded life, Blue somehow found himself falling for his wife. He's no longer willing to give Denise away to the other man. He wanted his wife all for himself. He suddenly wanted the marriage to be true. Damn, he was trapped! He needs to do something and fast because the year is coming to an end!
Shit just hits the fan! Clarissa decided to nullify their marriage. It's time to turn tables. He needs to reclaim his wife and bind her to him without escape. What should he do? Maybe expecting a child will help win his wife over. He'll do the seduction himself and get Denise pregnant soon!

(Very far of a leap, isn't it?) I love reading books, romance, comedy, fiction and real-life stories. I love my pillow and my bed. Hence, I love sleeping. I love my privacy and enjoy the moment imagining things, plot my personal novels. I love writing poetry but avoid sharing them to others because it'll be too much of an open book of my life. I love to study people from the distance (not a lurker nor a creeper), just enjoying their interaction is all. I love to travel. I love my family and friends. I don't have a pet. I secretly love to write. I love to hear comments from you if you've read my books. I love to explore. I love to mentally wander. I love loving. I'm just that girl. The world has been full of hate, let's go and spread love around the globe.

1. BLUE
Moving my head from side to side, I inspected my reflection in the bathroom mirror for the first time after a very long time. Aside from the dark circles around my eyes and hollowing cheeks, I still looked just the same son of a bitch I was a year ago. Handsome to many, a bastard to most and a dear son and brother to my family.
I admit, being branded as weird and different was liberating for me in all the ways. I was always excused of the things I did and the words I speak because I wasn't expected to follow what the society's claimed fucked up normalcy.
People called my bad behavior and rude manner as eccentricities or weirdness. It was an artist's language and way of life. No, it wasn't. It was a whole stupid absurdity, really why people would think that way. It's not because I was an artist, I’d be exempted to the rule.
Sadly, people thought and believed what they thought and believed. Truth was, I wasn't supposed to be excused. I was part of the society so my behavior should be in accordance of what the society's believed good (which I'd still say crappy) conduct. I shouldn't have been excluded to the rule. They shouldn't have let me. Now, I'm paying the price of it.
Expelling a deep breath of annoyance, I tugged hand towels from the mounted dispenser before patting my face dry and leaving the toilet. I hoped I look presentable enough to face my guest today not the miserable motherfucker who refused to see the sunlight for months, not wanting to shave and even thinking twice at taking showers. If it weren't for this session, I'd still be wallowing in absurd pain and guilt in a cold dark place called home. I was a mess. Everything in my life was.
Another sigh escaped my throat as I looked around my room. It reflected my entire goddamn life. Untidy, dark and just fucked up. Maybe I should postpone my appointment and clean my abode first before admitting people in my house again. I frowned, deciding to delay the cleaning instead and go on with the meeting. This was of priority. I only hoped my guest would understand.
Pulling a fresh shirt from my closet, I quickly put it on after hearing a buzz outside my door. Running my hands over my hair to desperately get any semblance of normalcy, I expelled another deep breath before turning the knob to open the door.
Hi, good afternoon.
The pretty lady smiled tepidly at me, not bothering to offer a handshake.
I froze at the beauty standing in my front door. This wasn't a dream, was it? She'd be my therapist? Seriously for the entire session? If so, I didn't think I could concentrate at all. She looked like a character from my erotic fantasy coming to life.
You're my therapist?
I skeptically ask.
The idea of going under the painful and sickly boring sessions talking to a shrink suddenly felt like a huge mistake.
Yes, your mother called me. Can I come inside?
She asked ever so formally and folded her hands together.
Of course.
When I pulled the door wider, I noticed for the first time her bulging stomach.
Pregnant!
My therapist was sexy as hell, beautiful and heavily pregnant! I didn't know whether to feel relieved, surprised or cry. I was really starting to think of withdrawing from this arrangement. She was pregnant but I was obviously, instantly attracted to her sexy ass. What a fucking asshole. A very damaged fucked-up asshole.
I winced as I felt myself getting a sudden stupid boner just by looking at her perfect face. I wondered what would happen to me if I touched her? I snorted and mentally shook my head. I hoped she wouldn't notice my crotch. But if she would, I hoped she'd just ignore it.
May I come in now?
Her pretty face was marred with a frown as she asked me once more.
Yes! Yes, come in.
I nodded before opening the door wider to let her inside my messy home.
My eyes were instantly glued to the sway of her ass. But I snapped my gaze up to her when she suddenly turned after noticing the disarray all around the place. I concluded she didn't like what she saw.
I'd like you to choose a place where you feel more comfortable and relaxed.
She looked around her for a moment before giving me a sad smile. If possible, a less messy place, too.
I have that place in this house. Follow me.
I led the way upstairs.
I gestured her towards one particular room I've been keeping immaculate amongst all the rooms of my house. Opening the door wide, I let her inside first.
I'm sorry if the painting bothers you. If you like, we'll just put shrouds on them for cover.
Her eyes scanned the room with a blank expression. I wanted to ask what she thought about it but words failed to come out my mouth. It was the only place I treasured. It was my sanctuary. If she tells me something bad about the place, I'd be really hurt so I decided not to ask at all.
After all, what's inside the room wasn't normal to most people. I was different and so was all that surrounded me which she probably would never understand. It took her quite a while before her attention returned to me with a curt nod.
Don't bother covering them, it's fine with me. Shall we begin?
She took a seat on the stool behind the night table, opened her bag to pull paper and pen before staring expectantly at me. You may take your seat, Mr. McBride. And please, feel comfortable as much as you can.
Sighing, I took a seat on the bed but decided quickly and sat on the Ottoman instead. Can you give me a minute?
She didn't answer and let me recollect myself in silence. I took a glance at her but quickly returned my eyes at my sinew stretched lazily in front of me.
Where should we begin?
In this session, it's not important where your story begins. What matters is the story, scenarios and feelings you wish to share which you feel comfortable sharing. If you're still hesitant about them, don't force yourself. We still have other meetings anyway where you might feel like sharing them eventually.
I nodded as I thought deeply. Well I have no fucking idea where to start my story. I didn't know what feelings I should be sharing her as well. But right now though, I really wanted to share how hard I was and horny I felt just by a mere glance at her sexy toes.
