    “Longing” is a flash story that is part of a larger tale that is still in production by the author. The story is set in a post-apocalyptic world and follows the protagonist after she abandons her clan. This flash story hints towards what she left behind.

    “The Box” is a classic writing prompt about the protagonist receiving a mysterious box. The author wrote this in a modern setting and tried to achieve a sort of Lovecraftian feel of dread and horror with the dramatic reveal of what is actually in the box.

    “Storm on the Sea” is a short historical fiction about a prisoner escape. It is intended to be set in the Golden Age of Piracy. During that time, some pirates were imprisoned in island prisons. This story details a daring escape by a small band of pirates.
