Harmonia’s Kiss is a short story that grew from a pair of scenes edited out of the Dragonfire novel Whisper Kiss. It should be read after Winter Kiss and before Whisper Kiss.

This is the tale of Dragon’s Tooth Warriors in their search for their lost past, and also the story in which Drake meets Veronica. I really liked the insight these scenes offered into Drake’s character in particular and was glad to develop those scenes into a longer story when they were cut from Winter Kiss. The story of the Dragon’s Tooth Warriors continues in the three Dragon Legion Novellas, Kiss of Danger, Kiss of Darkness, and Kiss of Destiny. Drake and Veronica meet again and have their firestorm in Firestorm Forever. Currently, Harmonia’s Kiss is available in this digital edition, and is also included in the print (and digital) editions of the Dragonfire world guide, Here Be Dragons: The Dragonfire Companion.
