Humble Gwagalor, a hairy hedge troll with moss on his back, dreams of leaving his swamp home. When he meets Sir Albynon, the self-proclaimed hunter of mighty dragons, he can hardly believe his good fortune. But sometimes fortune—and people—are not as they first appear.

Sionnach (pronounced shuhn ukh) Wintergreen is a genderqueer author of epic fantasy and adult fantasy. (She uses feminine personal pronouns because she has lived most of her life responding to them.) Her character-driven stories usually involve misfits because she has always been one. Her experiences as a bartender, dominatrix, preschool teacher, and grant writer for an animal rescue group color her works. She lives in Austin, Texas with her husband and five spoiled-rotten furkids. She also has a wonderful adult son.
