About this ebook

Tom Bracks is a product of the CIA. Seriously injured in a motor accident, his body intact but his brain severely damaged, he was reliant upon life support to keep him alive. He is programmed to do as they say, kept alive as a walking robot.
Relations between Russia and the USA have heightened, and Tom has been used as a political football with both powers keen to gain his control. In the debut book in this series Tom’s micro-chip was reprogrammed and there was a battle against time to find out who reprogrammed him and why? In the follow up book Tom is sent to Russia to find the two scientists who interfered with him and interrogate them. But things go horribly wrong and the pair are murdered and Tom is blamed and becomes a wanted man. The story twists and turns and eventually when he gets back to the US he discovers the secrets behind what has really gone on.

    Chapter 1

As Tom slowly makes his way past airport security he reflects back on his experience at LA airport a couple of months prior. Sheremetyevo International Airport Moscow is peaceful, and Tom walks slowly and confidently through the terminal having satisfied security as to his bona fides. The atmosphere is in complete contrast to the chaos that ensued when Tom attempted to avert airport security in LA on route to Washington DC. Tom left LA airport amidst a Police chase through the airport, gun shooting and car chase that eventually saw him fly to Washington DC with the assistance of SVR - Sluzhba Vneshney Razvedki, the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service and onboard a private jet.

It was a trying time and Tom has been sent to Moscow by the CIA to find the two scientists that were responsible for reprograming him. The CIA has after a lengthy decoding and unscrambling process come up with two names, and Tom is to find the scientists and seek answers as to why they interfered with him. The CIA knows that the scientists having reprogrammed Tom once may again seek to control their man. Had it not been for a last minute decoding by CIA computer personnel Tom Bracks may well have succeeded with his first mission, and under instruction from the Russians, blown up the White House and created unthinkable ramifications for the US.

Tom decides to grab a quick bite to eat before hiring a car to Tver, the large industrial, scientific and cultural center some 170 kilometres from Russia and where he is advised that the two scientists Andrei Sokolov and Boris Kuznetsov are located. The Russian scientists are strangely enough located in similar surroundings to that of Osiman, Dittman and Umber (the US scientists who programmed him and he pursued in Washington DC) and Tom is advised that the building is a discreet unassuming building nestled amongst other industrial and scientific factories. The CIA has researched the mission and via the use of satellite technology note that there is considerable security guarding the two compared
