About this ebook
Daniel and Ryan have fallen into a routine, carefully keeping work and play separate. In the office, they’re co-workers, people who sometimes meet in the break room, but in the bedroom they’re different. Daniel likes being someone different. He likes being Ryan’s Daniel for a little bit every night.

About the Author
Chapter One
Daniel spends his days in his office trying to negotiate the best sales for his company; in meetings with the sales team trying to fix whatever mistake the new guys have made this time; or in meetings with upper management helping to decide the future of the company.
He always has to be on his toes, always has to be thinking three steps ahead while still maintaining his focus on the present. It’s a balancing act that he’s gotten better at as he’s gotten older, but an important part of that balancing act is what happens when he’s not at work.
Despite what many people think, he’s not a workaholic, and he’s very good at not bringing work home with him. He might put in an extra half hour in the morning and an extra half hour in the evening in order to get all his work done, but he does that so when he flips the lights off in his office, when he shuts the door behind him, he can leave everything in that room to wait for when he comes in the next day.
He doesn’t obsess over sales projections at the breakfast table, doesn’t study the company’s five-year plan over dinner.
When he gets home he doesn’t want to think. He just wants to empty his mind and relax.
It’s why he follows such a stringent routine. He’s done the same thing day after day after day until it’s ingrained in his body. Until he doesn’t need to think. All he needs is to do.
Of course, there are other ways to empty his mind. Ways that involve giving up his control instead of clinging to it as a comfort. Ways that mean temporarily ceding decision-making to someone else. Ways that result, once again, in Daniel on his knees in Ryan’s apartment.
It’s been almost five weeks since Ryan put the donut on Daniel’s desk that got this whole thing started, but this is the first time they’re seeing each other on a weekday. For the most part they’ve scened on Friday nights or Saturday afternoons, giving them both plenty of time to recover and get back into a good headspace for returning to work on Monday.
For their first weekday scene, they’re returning to something similar to their first one, because Daniel knows he won’t sink too deep into subspace, and that should mean he won’t have any problems at work tomorrow.
They’ve already agreed on a sign for Daniel, or Ryan, to use if they’re struggling at work tomorrow, and Daniel’s the one who came up for a plausible reason for the two of them to meet in case Daniel does drop at work. He doesn’t think it’ll be a problem, but he likes to be prepared.
He’s drifting, though.
He refocuses his attention on the task at hand, remaining perfectly still, Ryan’s cock in his mouth as Ryan watches Jeopardy.
Daniel’s eyes closed a long time ago, but he opens them now and looks up, almost tempted to smile when he sees the rapt concentration on Ryan’s face as he leans closer to the TV, like that will help him get the answer faster.
Daniel only has to make it through Jeopardy and then Wheel of Fortune
