CHAPTER 1
The sudden opening of the door makes me jump, bringing me out of my thoughts and out of the saddened state I have been on for the past couple of days.
Three of them come in. He is also here, he who comes seldom and then one who I think is the boss because since the first time I saw him, two months ago, I’ve always been under the impression the tells everybody else what to do.
«I have told your father already… and he can’t say that it is my fault, that we do things just because. I have tried to make them understand that we are not kidding, and now it seems I have no other choice…»
I immediately understand this time is different. He seems less ferocious than the days before but he is acting determined, almost cautious, which does not seem normal on this context and it leaves me with no good feeling.
«There’s nothing I can do» I try to answer.

I think all they need is more time, the time you have given them is very short to be able to get the money with the police all over his case, just give him some more…»
He stops me with a ferocious scream, so high that it terrified me: «The time is over you piece of shit! I told your father, now we are going to show him that we are not the kind of people you play around with and we will see if he finds the money or not!»
Acting as one all three of them take me and with no additional effort stop me from moving.
I was terrified: I thought they wanted to hit me or maybe punch me, maybe cut one of my ears and send it to my house to convince my family to move faster and get the money as soon as possible. I was waiting to feel a punch or to see a shovel and they would hit me with it, I felt like a little pig going to the slaughter house with absolutely no chance of saving myself from those moments of pain and horror that were coming my way.
However, instead of feeling any punches, one
