Book Abstract
While Lou Dobbs is known more for his financial and business opinions, and not necessarily his political views, he has recently stirred up the political nation with his aggressive effort to put a stop to the exporting of American jobs overseas. In Exporting America, Dobbs lays out his arguments against this practice by trying to debunk many of the myths regarding American outsourcing and free trade.
Dobbs primarily blames Corporate America’s greed for this problem, but he doesn’t stop there. He attacks politicians, both Democrats and Republicans, for not standing up against the corporate lobbyists and allowing this practice to continue despite the negative results. Exporting America is a call to arms to save the American Dream.
