    Prologue

~ Saucie who lie looking up the ceiling as Des slept beside her began to recap the last few days within her mind. Saucie is a very busty young lass who embraces her long singed locks and her very sexual appeal. At twenty-eight years, old she is ivory toned skinned with very wide dark eyes.

As she began to sum up the last few days, the sauce had to admit she was used to absurd happenings in her life. She was part witch and part succubus so her life was a typical run for your life type of living. However, that was before she had decided to settle down to one home, one town, one state, one country, and one man? The latter bit of that statement might be absurd for any other succubus. Although, the sauce was not just a succubus, she was a witch who quite frankly was tired of running from the council of witches and their ridiculous platform, which deemed herself and those like her unfit to travel within the magical world.

The sauce was one of the unexplained, just a quaint way to call all those who had been born with both magical mother and magical father. For the council, which was a board, comprised of the five highest women of the five strongest covens did not deem magic upon magic unions. In more obvious terminology, they were the five that either were the strongest of their powers or had enough money to ensure that no one knew how weak they really were, which gave them the right to cast the laws and lifestyles on to those like them.

Being an unexplained was a variation of a few things that were not common in the magic world. You were either a spit and sputter type, non-magical, or more powerful with a twist. The latter was the sauce, for she was a witch and a succubus. This combination was never thought to be feasible since a witch and incubus should have never been able to happen without the witch ending up dead. However, Victor TheDelectable, the sauce’s father had given his life in order to allow his love, Lucy I.S. Hot-to-Trot, to live on with his planted seed and growing daughter inside of Lucy. The fact that Victor, incubus father to the sauce, had prior to his death been a part of majic should have also meant Lucy’s death as well.

Majic was an opposite power to the witches and warlocks of magic. Their minor differences in spell casting ended a great deal of differences. So much so, that it could mean the death of those who travel upon it. On the other hand, there was the sauce and her father who had come from the majic side of their enchantment-induced world.

Typically, you were to stay with your own magical line. This thinking was possible by consummating a union with a mortal. Hence, the not necessary need to have all of those who practiced magic reminded to not be kanoodling with those of the majic side.

Kanoodling was just a funny way Lucy, the sauce’s mother, would say the council did not want you doing anytime or anywhere under the sheets with those who could cast spells. However, she herself had not followed that rule which led to Lucy and the sauce running most of their lives with the council hot on their trail.

Of course, the sauce did not harbor too much fault for her mother. She herself lie there now, in her own room recalling that just a few days before she had found herself running for murder. A murder she did not commit besides the fact that she was part succubus and it was within her to do so.

Although, Saucie was a witch too and it was with the "do as you will, but ye none’ that she tried to live by. This proverbial saying was the golden rule as far as casting your spells wide and not harming any while doing it. It was what all white witches of magic practiced under and, but for her first murder as well as a youthful succubus’ mournful mistake, is what the sauce tried to stick with.

Of course, her present thinking did not stop her own cousin for framing her for murder. The poor Crier ByMarriage was not even a spit and sputter type of magic. He unfortunately had been a non-magical individual since he himself had been born by both magical parents. The sauce’s uncle, Alonzo NotSoMuch Hot-to-Trot, passing did not stop Crier’s mother from marrying another magical bearing man either. However, that warlock, Bitter ByMarriage, had come with money. This made it acceptable for Augusta, the sauce’s aunt, to have once again found herself marrying a magical being under the council’s laws. Especially since, she herself with the Bitter’s money and last name carried now on to her son would have a place among the council members themselves.

The entire ordeal had the sauce, her mother, and Des running for their lives for a few days. Des Irable was an incubus that had been sent by her grandmother. Dominion Ova TheDelectable who was also the sauce’s dead father’s, Victor, mother. Since Victor’s death, there had been a rift between Dominion and Lucy, the sauce’s mother. However, as of late Dominion had sent Des to watch over the sauce after the majic side had found out that Saucie was wanted for murder. Although, the sauce had yet to meet her grandmother...

    ––––––––

Chapter 1  The Coming Of A Sphinx

~ She had been stalling since she had awakened. Admittedly, the sauce was uneasy about the day’s plans. When Des, her lover and incubus, had brought up the idea, she had been against it. Yes, she was aware that her grandmother had sent Des to her when the sauce had been wanted for murder but she had also had taken twenty-eight years to take an active place in Saucie’s life. Besides the sauce already knew Lucy’s stand on Dominion. However, how long were they all going to throw blame around for the sauce’s father’s actions? She herself was here now; the damage so to speak had been done. The sauce herself should be the one hating her father for creating her life, as it was now. Although, she had found that it took to much energy and she needed all she had for the next run and dodge part of her life.

Since Des had entered her life and the murder charges had been dropped there had been a lot less of the running and dodging in her life. Of course, that was because she had not been working either. Saucie outside of being a witch was a succubus. The combination was a rather unique combo in her world. Unlike many witches who rely on the connection to the goddess and spell casting for power using the elements, Saucie’s unique skill set rallied from any and all sexual energy. Even being around those who were emanating arousing vigors could bring about Saucie’s spell influencing ways. Due to being a living picture of both witch and succubus her practice specialty was to cast over her so-willing-Vics the-want-of-returning to their woman to whom they had either just cheated on or left completely. Of course, there were those times when spells were cast to rid clients of Vics or even just to check if the Vics would cheat on the clients. Saucie’s craft was a wanted trade however it was also another blackened spot against her in the Wiccan community.

She was the tragedy that happens when a true Witch is either cursed or damaged. Although Saucie never felt damaged, in fact she had always felt empowered by her abilities and this fact was even more so since Des had entered her life.

Des and the sauce had not worked out their total commitments to each other as of yet. In fact, she was not even sure if incubuses even had those types, in a relationship. She knew that Des at one time had told her many of their kind got into relationships to curb their hunger but was the relationship the only place they ate?

Full-blooded incubuses and succubuses ate from the soul through intimacy. Notably this could only be done successfully without death if they stayed among their own kind. Of course, there were still many of them who shared beds with witches, warlocks, other magical beings, and humans alike. This typically ended in the death of the non-succubuses and non-incubuses.

As sleep had not ushered its control over her in sometime and her thinking on past events as well as today’s current plans had yet to ease her concerns, the sauce rose from the bed. Des who moved over to
