    Author’s Note

In this book you’ll find a chapter with each of the couples from my Novak Springs series as they celebrate Christmas in their own way. They already found their happy-ever-after in their books, but we all know there are things that happen after a story ends. No character’s story truly stops after we type the end and that’s true with mine. So here is a little visit for my readers to enjoy. It’s a nice visit with family. I hope you enjoy a peak at their lives once again.

    Chapter 1

Alog crackled in the fireplace as it warmed the room up. Snow fell outside and covered the fields. Ginnifer rubbed her arms to ward off the chill seeping through the window. Night had fallen and Dallas had finally gotten the baby to lay down to sleep. They had the evening free to enjoy each other and she looked forward to it. A night with no obligations was rare for them and ever since Montana had been born they didn’t have nearly as much alone time as she’d have liked. She was a little over a year old and on a regular sleeping schedule. It helped them to plan for the rare occasion for adult time.

It was Christmas Eve and in the morning they’d be invaded by the Novak clan. Wes and Vitoria would arrive followed by Emma and Colt. Ginnifer adored her in-laws, and Vitoria was her best friend. The holidays were the only time they had to spend together these days and she didn’t want to encourage them to stay away just because she was missing face time with Dallas. That was why it was so important to her that they had the evening to themselves.

Miss me? Dallas leaned down behind her and nuzzled her neck. His light beard brushed over her soft skin filling her with liquid heat.

It’s been what? She turned toward him with a raised eyebrow. Twenty minutes since you took our daughter upstairs to lay her down for the night?

Longest twenty minutes of my life, he replied—a wicked grin filling his handsome face.

Ginnifer raised her hand and brushed his dark locks out of his eyes. His blue eyes gleamed with sinful intentions. The kind she was hoping he had in mind involved the two of them naked for hours. A woman had needs after all…

I think you missed me, she replied lowering her hand to rest on his firm ass. The question is how much.

Babe I miss you every second we’re apart, he replied huskily. The best thing I ever did was convince you to marry me.

Ginnifer’s lips tilted upward. Could life be any sweeter than this? She had a man she adored to pieces and a daughter who filled her soul with happiness. Surely there wasn’t another woman alive who was as blissfully in love and content with their life as she was. What had she done to deserve such a fate? Whatever it was she had to bottle it up and keep it safe. She didn’t want to think what it would do to her if she lost Dallas or God forbid their daughter.

That’s because you’re a man chock full of intelligence. She licked her lip. So smart you know exactly what I want for Christmas.

I do? It was his turn to raise a brow. Please let it be the same thing I want.

Ginnifer lifted the hem of his shirt and slid her hands underneath. Her fingers skimmed over the hard terrain of his firm muscles. She purred with pleasure with each touch. The only thing better would be him touching her instead. Soon—she promised herself—he’d get his turn, but she was greedy and wanted to go first.

You have way too many clothes on, she replied.

I’d walk around naked but our ranch hands would frown upon seeing me in all my glory. He smirked. Plus it’s damn cold out right now and I might freeze my balls off when I did chores.

Ginnifer took that as an invitation to fondle said balls. These wonderful things? She lowered her hand and cupped them in her palm. I think someone might be a wee excited, she said as his cock hardened from her attention.

What was your first clue? He chuckled lightly. I can’t seem to keep my hands off of you.

And that’s how I like it.

It didn’t take long for them to remove all of their clothing. They made love on the rug by the fireplace. Every time they came together Ginnifer didn’t think it could be any better—and she was surprised how wrong she was. Nothing would ever compare to her feelings for her husband, and when they expressed that love it was simply mind blowing.

They nuzzled together by the fireplace. Dallas pulled a blanket over them and spooned with her. He kissed her shoulder and then her lips. I love you more every day.

Not as much as I love you.

He nibbled on her ear. Care to make a wager on that?

    No, she replied. "I’d hate
