warned Gernico through the earpiece.

whispered Dalcen with menace in his tone.
Your wife is pretty. It would be a shame if I did anything to her,
replied Gernico with wry pleasure.
Dalcen was infuriated. He could feel his heart accelerating and his teeth clenching. If the other man was physically in his presence, he would bite his head off. To his greatest discontent he had to focus on the mission he had been unwillingly assigned. He took several deep breaths to keep his hands from shaking. Once he was calm enough to master his body, Dalcen readjusted his black and red scarf to hide his face and crossed the street.
