About this ebook
Stone was heartbroken when his fiancé, Jess, left him. He thought his world was over. That he could never be the person he was before. That he could never recover from the pain and scars that were left. He was at rock-bottom, when he discovered he was more than he would have ever imagined.
R.R. Rogers
R.R. Rogers was born in California during the 1970s after his father— a Kentucky boy in the Air Force— met, fell in love with, and married his mother— a California girl from a small town near the base where he was stationed. At the conclusion of his father’s active duty service, the young family moved across country to Kentucky. Although it was not the original plan, it was in the Bluegrass State where they established roots and where their family expanded a couple of years later when R.R.’s younger brother was born.Kentucky became his home, but with family spread across the United States he was able to spend significant time in California, Washington, Utah, and Arizona as a young person. Visiting these places had a profound impact on him. Those experiences broadened his perspective, roused his imagination, and solidified his interest in history, stories, and people. The influences can still be seen in his work today. In addition to being the holder of a Master’s Degree in English and Creative Writing with a Concentration in Fiction, he is also a voracious reader, a history buff, and a huge film, television, and music fanatic —in his own words— “a pop-culture geek.”When he’s not writing or researching, you can usually find him spending time with his family, watching television or movies (or a ballgame), hiking, playing or listening to music, or— of course—reading.R.R. Rogers still resides in the Bluegrass Region of Central Kentucky with his wife and daughters, their cats, and his dog.
