I have been teaching and studying in Asia. Starting, accidentally, in China.China was the first country I visited that I could not guess what a sign said unless it was a picture (well - usually I understood the pictures). Oh the mistakes I made, and the funny results! Nearly everyone Chinese I met was excited that I was trying to learn Chinese, but some were more excited to practice English with me. And really, that was fine.Before life in Asia I drew and wrote, entered contests, won some of them. Then I went to work in an office managing people and projects. The drawing and writing always stayed with me.Now, I'm writing children's books. I'm also doing more artwork (as you can see by my profile image). Oh, and I'm not working in an office now!
