About this ebook
Away from the stadium lights lies the burning glow of scandal…
Chelsea Knight is living her dream -- both in and out of the bedroom. She may not have found the love of her life yet, but she's got a hot guy who can't resist ripping her clothes off and making her body quiver with delight. And when daylight comes, she gets to go to her dream job. Chelsea is a successful sports reporter for the Miami Tribune -- so successful, in fact, that she gets to cover the South Florida Sharks and their superstar first baseman, Slade Stirling, every single day.
Some people didn't think Chelsea had what it took to survive in this male-dominated world, but she's about to prove them all wrong. When an informant decides he wants the media to blow the whistle on a mega-scandal, he turns to Chelsea. Just like that, she goes from writing about balls and strikes to writing about dangerous secrets.
And that's when things get messy.
Chelsea's story doesn't just turn Miami's sports scene upside down. It also turns downright dangerous. Turns out, this game can be a whole lot more wicked than this sexy heroine ever imagined.
When you see the jaw-dropping cliffhanger end to Wicked Game 1, you'll want to dive right into the next sexy short read in this series, Wicked Game 2.
Grab your copy of Wicked Game 1, and join Chelsea on a wild rollercoaster ride chock full of sex, secrets, and lies!

Chapter 1
Can you get me tickets to a Sharks' game?
There it was—the question that got asked on every single date Chelsea ever went on. Not that she was a serial dater or anything. Heck, she hardly had time to have a social life thanks to her demanding job! But on those rare nights when she didn't have to cover a South Florida Sharks' game for the Miami Tribune and actually got to venture out with a member of the opposite sex, she always wound up talking about work.
She didn't mind sharing some details. After all, it was a pretty big deal to be the only woman beat reporter for professional baseball's most popular team. She was proud of her accomplishments, and a little bit of bragging always felt good. But she was an actual person—not just a reporter. She wanted her dates to think of her as Chelsea
, instead of Chelsea Knight, Sports Reporter
. Unfortunately, though, most guys didn't bother to look past her job and get to know all of her.
And that's why the question annoyed her so much.
I'm not powerful enough to command free tickets,
she laughed, tucking her long brown hair behind her right ear. It was the same response she gave every time. She figured if a flirty giggle and a seductive hair tuck didn't get the date back on track, nothing would.
Man, that must be awesome to write about the Sharks every day! I've loved them for my entire life,
her date, Adam, continued.
Clearly the giggle and hair tuck hadn't worked.
Chelsea vowed revenge against her sister for setting up this blind date. She could've been at home in sweat pants, binging on Netflix and eating ice cream out of the carton, instead of wearing shoes that pinched her feet, while her date waxed poetically about a baseball team.
What's Slade Stirling like in person?
Adam asked, sounding more like a teenage girl with a crush on Justin Bieber than the sophisticated commercial lawyer Chelsea's sister had sworn up and down that she would love.
Even his wavy black hair and his sexy dimples couldn't save him now. This would definitely be their first and last date.
He's nice,
Chelsea said.
Ironically, Chelsea couldn't think of anything else to say about the Sharks' superstar first baseman. Everyone else in Miami seemed to have a lot to say about Slade—like how he was a shoe-in to go to the Hall of Fame whenever he decided to retire, how great it was that a Miami boy had made it big with his hometown team, and how nice that he still had the same core group of friends from when he was a kid.
Wow, you get to talk to Slade Stirling for a living! That's so cool!
Adam squealed.
Chelsea couldn't help but notice that Adam had barely touched his dinner. She'd been so impressed when he'd snagged a table at the impossibly-hard-to-get-into Joe's Stone Crab, but she was less-than-impressed that he was too busy oohing and ahhing over Slade Stirling to actually eat.
Two things were obvious—going on this blind date was a horrible idea, and Chelsea was going to need another glass of Pinot Grigio if she was going to make it through this never-ending dinner with Adam.
She couldn't believe it, but she was actually longing for the on-again-off-again fling she had with Ethan, one of the copy editors at the Miami Tribune. Ethan wasn't all that special, but they both had the same difficult schedule—working most nights and weekends—so they'd naturally gravitated towards each other.
Plus, Ethan could give her one hell of an orgasm.
But a few weeks ago, she'd told herself to stop fooling around with Ethan and look for a relationship with real potential. But after spending time with Adam, Ethan's magical cock suddenly seemed too good to pass up. She was kicking herself for even thinking about it—but she was also wondering if she should give Ethan a call after she bid farewell to Adam.
Chapter 2
Make room! The King of Miami is coming through!
Chelsea winced at the nasally voice that had
