She Must Be a Witch

About this ebook
This collection of short stories depicts the wins and defeats of women whose true selves are revealed as they come within inches of their goals. Though each fantasy story contains diverse obstacles (body image, sexual freedom, and freedom of expression), the desire to design a better life unites them all.
Priscilla, having grown up under the rigid, staid, and overbearing rule of a single mother, goes off to college and throws all caution to the wind. She voraciously ticks things off her list - things her mother would never allow. Though her life becomes adventurous, romantic disappointments leave more than loneliness in her life. She finds refuge in the depths of her imagination, where she can create better alternatives to reality. However, this refuge is on the brink of collapse as a visit from her mother places Priscilla at a crossroads between the girl she used to be and who she has become.

My reflection looked like me, a slim, 5’4" heighted girl, with mid length curly hair, and caramel-colored skin. But, my body had betrayed me, or I had betrayed it and so, it was no longer mine.
She, the
