About this ebook

The horrific bombing of the Federal Building in Oklahoma City on April 19, 1995 was the result of a Government "sting" operation that went terribly wrong, resulting in the political and judicial lynching of Timothy McVeigh, a Government Agent, as part of a massive Government Cover-up.

Pure fiction. Better read the books by Wendy Painting, David Paul Hammer etc. We may never know what really happened in great detail, but this has too many facts completely wrong.
The author couldn't even get the Mercury car's color right. It's yellow! It's all over the internet and in the museum!
Oh, and my personal favourite - McVeigh to be "revived by anecdotes" after the execution. Okay :))) 2 stars for that!

The Soldier

April 15, 1991

U.S. Army’s Special Forces Training Grounds, Fort Bragg, N.C.

Two hundred and fifty soldiers, standing in formation and at ease, face a stern faced drill sergeant who has just called roll. He then barks another command; Ten of you men are to report immediately to Barrack C for special instructions.

He calls off ten names, one of those is a sergeant named Timothy McVeigh. The selected men brake ranks and proceed to the designated barracks and are met by a young Army clerk who directs each soldier to a different private office. McVeigh is ushered into a small room furnished with one metal desk and two straight-backed chairs – no windows or other furnishings. McVeigh sits his six foot, two inch, one hundred and seventy-five pound body down, and five minutes later, a burley man enters in a rush, wearing civilian clothes, carrying a clipboard and a small paper sack.

McVeigh immediately stands and salutes, all in one motion. Sergeant Timothy McVeigh reporting, Major. The Major nods and sits.

Sergeant, I see you recognized me from our time serving together in Iraq. I am now working in the field of intelligence gathering. Do you know why you and the other men were picked for these interviews?

No Sir, not a clue, McVeigh still is standing at attention, replies.

The Major points at the other chair Sit down and relax. Forget you ever knew me and let’s talk privately. Can I trust that you will keep this conversation private and confidential, forever?

McVeigh nods his head, Yes Major, I understand.

The Major looks sternly for a moment at McVeigh and then speaks, You ten recruits were selected because based on the battery of written and oral tests you completed this week in qualifying for Special Forces Training, y’all are the most intelligent and dedicated soldiers of this entire group. You all have proven to be efficient killers by your past combat experience in Iraq and you can be trusted to carry out any assigned mission to the letter, without any hesitation. I understand you were awarded the Bronze Star for killing an Iraqi soldier with a two thousand foot shot from your A.P.C.

The Major waits for McVeigh’s response. McVeigh’s only reply, Yes, Sir.

The Major continues, McVeigh I am recruiting men to work undercover for the government in the area of intelligence gathering. You would work under my direction and as a disgruntled soldier who washed out of the Army. You will be paid in cash, tax free, with no paper trail and no records of your employment. You will be required to not become involved in any romantic relationships, no girlfriends, no marriages, and no children. You will basically be a lone-wolf working only at my direction and you will constantly be on the move around this country, gathering intelligence on certain organizations that our employer feels are dangerous for our country’s very existence. Is that the type of work and lifestyle you think you can handle? It will be lonely and very dangerous work. You will be investigating anti-government organizations, and if they suspect you are an informant, they will not hesitate to make you disappear permanently.

McVeigh extends his hand, You can depend on me, Major. When do I start and what should I do about my Special Forces Training and my remaining Army enlistment?

The Major stands and starts walking back and forth in the small room, You will drop out of the Special Forces Training at the end of the day. Your Army obligation ends in December, you will be a sleeper agent until then; you will not re-enlist.

McVeigh stands and replies, Are all ten of us being recruited for this same type of work?

The Major turns toward McVeigh, No, some of you men will become government assassins, some underground drug dealers, and some will be working for the C.I.A. You will be paid fifty thousand a year, all in cash, plus a fifty thousand dollar sign-on bonus. All your expenses will be reimbursed. You will always have my private phone number, memorize it and never write it down or call me when you are not alone, understand?

McVeigh, Yes, Sir, you can count on me.

The Major hands his paper bag to McVeigh, who looks into it and sees stacks of well-used twenty-dollar bills. The Major smiles, Your sign-on bonus, are you ready for your first assignment?

Yes Sir, McVeigh’s voice showing his anticipation.

The Major opens his clipboard and hands several newspaper and magazine clippings to McVeigh. "The militia movement and other hate group recruitment has snow balled in this country the last few years; there are neo-Nazi and religious-right groups that are just looking for an excuse to try to overthrow our government. We must have people like you placed inside such groups to keep us informed about their anti-government plans. That is your assignment. Get yourself involved in what is called the Aryan Republic Army, also known as the ARA and another group operating in eastern Oklahoma knows as Elohim City. Both organizations are full of neo-Nazis and religious nutcases, hell bent on overthrowing our government. Here are some articles about those organizations. Check in with me once a week and give me an oral report. I will record it for my supervisors. Put nothing in writing and trust no one with this information. If you are ever arrested or detained by any law enforcement agency, including the F.B.I. or A.T.F. don’t call a lawyer, call me and just leave a message with your location. I will run interference for you and obtain your release.

‘"Another thing, open a booth on the gun show circuit and begin making contact with people who have anti-government leanings. You will need to build a reputation that you hate the government and are a racist with sympathy for the skinhead neo-Nazi
