In partnership with the "Tales To Terrify" podcast, Justin Cawthorne was a recipient of the 2016 Parsec Award for Best Speculative Fiction Story: Small Cast (Short Form), awarded for the adaptation of his short story "Graves". Most of them never saw it coming. Captain Lincoln sits in her command chair, blood still dripping from the hole in the back of her head. No time to plead. No chance to stand up. Sent to her grave without even knowing what it was that took her there.
I suppose that makes her one of the lucky ones. I wouldn’t really know.
