"That doesn’t matter. I still care for you, Quinn. I don’t know why after everything – or maybe I do. You have been a part of my life for so long. I’ve loved you so much but I lost that, I lost you. I’ve lost your friendship most of all and that’s the worst part, because you were my best friend. I don’t know where any of this is coming from. It’s not anything that I’ve consciously thought. She looks up at me. Her tears have stopped but her eyes are red. She’s been stripped bare of everything. She is real and raw and vulnerable and I love her.
