    Sam picked at her eggs with the morning sun flooding the breakfast nook she had shared with Argo for more than a decade. She always thought of it as sharing, not as something belonging to them, because if the Corporation were to ever do the right thing and simply give the world its technology, she and Argo could leave their apartment, and Sam had no desire to share a new place with him.
