About this ebook
Ellen Schayer is a Jewish lady who lived in Germany before Germany was united. The memoir is 100 percent authentic. The memoirs were translated into English from German. These memoirs give good insights of what life was like for a wealthy and cultured German Jewess for the eighty years of her life. She writes about her relatives and gives a brief synopsis of their lives. She writes well and the work is very interesting. She wanted her memory to be kept alive and hopefully these memoirs well be well read including by historians so that it adds to the history of German Jews.
