About this ebook

Join our three scientists and their crew members on a journey of life, how it began, Mother Earth and its ultimate destiny. Your home, or should I say Earth, was born 4550 million years ago (4.55 billion years) and has sustained life ever since. Maggie, Jimmy, Deann and their crew members will take you on an adventure that you will never forget. They will keep you longing for more and make you second guess what you believe as the truth. You will find yourself checking the internet as you read through the pages of evolution asking yourself: Is that TRUE? The crew will help you devour each word until you cannot resist the next sentence. You will second guess yourself and your thoughts as the scientists and the crew educate you on the truth of Earth and the creatures that lived here before us. The Operations Manager, JR put it in perspective when he said, “Man has meddled with every creature on present day Earth which resulted in disaster...so therefore we will not meddle with the life forms in the past...even though we know what their fate is. This facility was not built to start an amusement park full of dinosaurs or to clone certain species that could change present day Earth. It was built to prove the theory of Weight=Extinction.” This book is for people of all ages and will help the intelligent creatures that now live here understand what, when, where, and how it all began and how it will ultimately end. This action packed adventure is not only educational, it is full of action and adventure. The inventions that you will read about in this book will not only amaze you, they will keep you on the edge of your seat as the crew uses them on their missions. (All of the inventions in this book are the sole ownership of the author, Pat Riley).

    CHAPTER 1 EARTH’S CREATION

I know that most stories start with a beginning like It was a hot summer’s day or it was a moonless rainy night. I just hope it will be as exciting for you to read this mind blowing story as it was for me to write it. I will let you know as we venture into Earth also known as the world we live on and my theory that is WEIGHT = EXTINCTION. I will let you be the judge of our hypothesis after we have provided you with all of the facts. I am going to explain everything in layman’s terms and explain it as the scientists have explained it to me. I will also help you learn some very important facts about Earth and the creatures that lived and died on our planet during our adventure.

My name is JR and my position is the Field Operations & Support Manager. My job is to document this adventure and support the everyday operations for the company. The company hired me to oversee every aspect of this project and assist the crew on their missions.

It was a hot summer’s day on September 5, 2014 when I started my adventure writing this story. Just joking, it all started with nothing but debris, space, planets, the sun and stars. There was the sun and several planets around it and vast space when Earth was not even thought of YET; nothing like we know it today. Earth was formed when gaseous matter and particles of the same matter began sticking together under the influence of gravitation like a black hole. It was sort of like a tornado (the finger of God) sucking in all kinds of matter and debris. The only difference is that there is no gravity in space so all of the matter was sucked into the eye of the tornado or black hole and stayed there. The same effect but in space and all of this matter from space was sucked in the vacuum and started to form larger bodies like Earth.

I guess that is why all planets are round and not egg or oblong shaped. Simple physics: if you want something to spin it is harder to spin a box, pencil or even an egg than it is to spin a ball. Think about it, why is every ball we play with round, except the football because the players need to throw it and it doesn’t get hit with a bat, racket, stick or a paddle like device. Could you imagine using a football to play basketball or baseball? No one would be able to dribble the ball, make a basket or hit a homerun. Think about playing golf with an egg shaped ball; simple physics would really hurt every player’s game. I know that made you laugh because I am busting a gut and my cheeks hurt. NOW that would be funny for both the players and the spectators.

Earth is the third planet from the sun, which is very important because if we were too close we would burn up and if we were too far we would freeze. Earth is the only celestial (a single, cohesive structure that is bound together by gravity) planet that accommodates life that we know of. Earth is also not only the densest planet but also the largest of the four terrestrial planets in our solar system. A terrestrial planet, or Earth like planet, is composed primarily of silicate rocks or metals. The other three terrestrial planets are Mercury, Venus and Mars so we are the big boy on the block so to speak. That is why NASA and scientists want to visit, explore and take samples of these planets. They want to see if life has ever been present on these Earth like planets.

The other larger planets that we roll around the sun with are called gas giants. They are composed of, you guessed it, gases like hydrogen, helium, water, methane, and other materials besides gas. The cores of these massive giants are rock and ice. All of these planets were formed in the same way that Earth was but with a little different twist. When they were formed they had a different amount of debris and matter sucked in during their creations. The outer layers consist of water, ammonia and methane ice. I really would hate to live there and if I did I would definitely give up my sense of smell. So that gives you an example of our neighboring planets, how they were made, and what they are made of.

We are unsure of when Earth was blessed with one of the main ingredients, which covers 2/3 of our world and sustains life as we know it. There are several theories about that beautiful stuff we drink, clean with, have fun in and that which makes everything grow, and I do mean everything. Some creatures spend their whole life in it and call it home. Yes you guessed it: WATER; that beautiful, life sustaining, delicious, and refreshing WATER. Most scientist have speculated that we acquired water during the Earth’s creation and it was one of the things that was sucked up in the black hole. They think it was embedded in the Earth’s crust and on the Earth’s surface. They also speculate that water may have been delivered by a water enriched asteroid. The fact of the matter is, however it got to Earth it was very much appreciated and a necessity.

There are so many planets out there that have a large abundance of water or ice that I’m pretty sure Earth was born with it. Never the less, we got a huge amount of it on Earth after it was all said and done. Thank you God and the universe for this wonderful gift.

Earth has been circling the sun for approximately 4.55 Billion (4,550 Million) years and has harbored an increasing diversity of life forms during those years. Earth has also gone through some very interesting changes since its birth. Let’s try and make this as easy as possible which will also put this on a level that we can all understand. Let’s rate the Earth’s years as we would a dog’s years. The rate is calculated 7 to 1, that’s seven human years to every 1 year that the dog is alive. So if the dog is 3 years old just multiply it by 7 and you have a 21 year old dog. The reason we do this is because most dogs live for about 9 to 15 human years depending on the breed, and it gives our children an understanding of how old the dog really is. It also makes it easy for a child to understand that our beloved four legged friend is not 10 they are 70 and that is why they are not as active as they used to be. So let’s do the same for Earth, but backwards, we will break it down in a billion years instead of 7 years for the dog. Each human year will be a billion (1,000 million) years for Earth. That would mean that the Earth is only 45 ½ human years old. In the beginning the Earth had just been formed and was just starting to spin probably at a high rate of speed which helped form its beautiful roundish shape. Just joking; the Earth was just getting started and was only about 3 months old or 23 million years old when WHAM! Approximately 4,527 million years ago a huge asteroid hit the Earth and the moon was formed. When the moon was formed Earth was only a baby and barely able to walk if you were looking at it in human years.

The moon has a very important job because it stimulates ocean tides, stabilizes the Earths 23.4 degrees axial tilt, and gradually slows the earth’s rotation. Without the moon we would spin out of control, have no tides or waves in our great lakes and oceans and the weather would change at the drop of a hat. Let me explain, the Earth’s 23.4 degree tilt gives us the change in seasons as it rotates around the sun on its axis 366.26 times which gives us 365.6 days in a year. If the moon was not there to slow our rotation we would spin faster and therefore change our calendar, tides and weather so drastically that life as we know it would not exist. So when you look up at our only natural satellite please thank the moon for giving us the change of seasons, the waves to surf, and keeping us in line where we need to be. The Earth laid dormant for approximately 5 ½ human years (550 million) licking its one big wound, so to speak. It was still getting hit with smaller bombardments of asteroids which is believed to have stopped when it was only 5 ½ years old (4,000 million) years ago. That is when scientists think that life began its slow and beautiful journey.

    CHAPTER 2 THE COMPANY

Let me explain a little bit about the company I work for. The Company was started many years ago in the late 1700’s by four very rich lords. Each of these lords where in different businesses before they became good friends. They consisted of an Englishman, Irishman, Frenchmen and a German. The Englishman was a veteran real estate owner and store front owner, the Frenchman was a livestock (horses, cattle, sheep, pigs, chickens, etc.) entrepreneur, the German was a weapons, wagon and rail car manufacturer, and the Irishman was a world renowned farmer and whiskey manufacturer. They all had made millions early in life and invested wisely in other things such as transportation. They all decided to invest in steam ships in the early 1800’s to transport their products to distant lands which would save them money on the astronomical transportation fees. The paying customers that traveled on their ships would more than offset the initial cost of the ship and the cost to operate the ship. This is where they all meet and became friends.

They were all there to purchase at least one ship in the beginning and started conversing about the price when it occurred to all four of them at once: Instead of buying one ship each and depleting a large amount of money from each of their savings accounts why not become partners? They all agreed that this would also give them all the power to negotiate a better price with the manufacturer. The ship manufacturer gave them a discounted rate for purchasing two ships which was the deciding factor that started the company. They then agreed that since they were partners and owned one quarter of two ships they should pull their resources together to accomplish even greater things.

They each made their money in many different ventures before becoming partners or consultants to each other but the one thing they all had agreed on was that they all needed to invest in the same things. This was a great strategy and would minimize the members’ losses if the investment was to become worthless. For the most part it was all or nothing when it came to this group of friends making money. Their strategies worked well for them because they were all very well versed in many different fields. So if one of them became suspicious or had doubts about an investment they all took his word that it was no good for the whole group. Of course the suspicious member would always provide proof to the other members before the group would abandon the investment. This always worked for the group and helped them stay clear of any fraudulent investments.

The company that they formed was called the Four Eyes Company. It was named that because no matter what happened they all had at least one eye open. They have long passed away but the company has been successful due to the fact that the original Four Eyes owners made the company private and one of the strongest. In other words, the original four owners never bought anything that would alert any competitors or price gougers that they were investing. They learned early in life that if a no name person was buying or investing in something they would get it for a better price which saved them millions in the long run. They preserved the company and passed on all of their knowledge to their families who still run the company today.

The R & D Department is a branch of the original Four Eyes Company that was started in the beginning soon after the four decided to become partners. The one thing the original Four Eyes needed and heavily relied on when making any investment decisions was the Research and Development Department. It is commonly known as the R & D department in today’s companies. Every large company in the world has an R & D department today, so the Four Eyes were way ahead of their time when they added it to the original company. I was the manager of the Four Eyes R & D Department before taking on the responsibilities of this project.

They hired some of the greatest scientists and engineers that they could find to help them understand things that were out of their area of expertise. The R & D department became one of the company’s most valuable assets because they made the company a vast amount of money developing patents and coming up with new business ideas. The Four Eyes started assembly line manufacturing, fast food restaurants, owns countless hospitals, hotels, power companies, cargo ships, tanker ships, cruise ships, trucking companies, Airline Companies, casinos, apartment complexes, banks, land, manufacturing faculties, and owned more real estate in every country than anyone in the world. The incredible thing is that it is still one of the most secretive companies in the world today which also accounts toward its success.

The original partners decided that the R & D department would keep thirty percent of all profits to further the development of the department. It paid for all of its equipment, salaries, supplies and whatever else it needed to help the company grow. That thirty percent could not be touched by any of the four families, their siblings or offspring. It was put into special accounts that earns a very impressive interest rate. After years of profits flowing into the department and not much spending the R&D department became richer than all four of the owners. The Four Eyes Board of Directors had many different ideas on what to invest the extra money on when they decided to hire another scientist. The reason they hired this particular scientist was because he was one of the best in his field.

The company decided to invest in a very new power source. The company was planning to spend the accrued R & D money on nuclear power facilities after the first reactor was built on December 2, 1942 in the University of Chicago’s football stadium. They already owned several hydroelectric and coal power plants so they were very familiar with this industry. They had a strong feeling that this would be a good investment and would secure the company’s financial future for years to come.

The Human Resources Department went to all of the nuclear R & D projects all over the world. After an extensive search, they found what they were looking for. They interviewed countless nuclear scientists and engineers until they found Dr. Denny Chrisman, a scientist and nuclear engineer. Dr. Chrisman worked on the Manhattan Project back in the 1940’s and was involved in building the first nuclear bomb. The Human Resources
