The Traveller has many tales to share from the dark shadows of Midlocke but enough is never enough. Curiosity can lead you to a variety of places. Some are scary, others are beautiful but do not let your curiosity control you for it could lead you to the end of ends.

A War of Demons

The year is 86Ar, on the island of Demonst in a skirmish that would last but a few days. Over thirty thousand men perished in this battle due to the legendary beast that most denied even existed.

The rain hit the ground and lightning cracked the skies, thirty five thousand men marched on Demonsbane Mountain, a mountain hollowed out by the demon known as The Garamore, a four legged, eighty foot high monster with two heads and needles covering its entire body. The beast was requested killed by the Demon King, Kazlaricass Munfiren whom we shall refer to as Kazlar from this point on. A mad ruler of Demonst who threw men at every problem there was and slayed the former Demon King, Alastec Brog. A Demon King is born by someone slaying the former Demon King, you can be of any race but if you are the one to put an end to a Demon Kings life, you must take his place. There is a madness that runs deep in the Demon Kings throne, anyone who sits in it will become engrossed with the feeling of power and ruthless in the battle field. But you must give up one thing, before you can become Demon King and it is not a choice. You must give up your mortal soul. You will forever burn in the depths of Lagazars Fires when you die, with no chance of ascension to the God Lands. But you are granted agelessness and immunity to all disease in life. The demon people look like your average human but with bright, glowing red eyes and horns growing from their fore head.

Kazlar led the men to kill the Garamore in that battle, joining the battle himself when his forces could no longer handle it. For weeks the war raged on against this one beast who slayed thousands every day. Here is the story of that battle.

A soldier burst in to the king’s hall.

Milord, the Garamore stirs in his mountain, the folk in the village near it say he's getting ready to attack, what shall we do?

We kill the wretched beast and bathe in its fucking blood. It does not deserve that mountain, I want it. I want it all, this land is mine and I will kill that beast!
