Once upon a time, there was an old man. He was very forgetful and suffered from a condition called amnesia. Amnesia is an illness where you forget many things. The old man was a very friendly man and every morning he greeted the people he would meet kindly with the words:
Wonderful morning! Isn’t life wonderful?
The men and women nodded. Since the man was very forgetful, the scene repeated itself day by day, week by week, and month by month. People soon grew weary of his kindness. First, they considered his behavior to be funny, but after a while they found his perpetual friendliness annoying.
