    Jason stared at himself in the bathroom mirror for a good long while. He was a wiry young man with handsome features, but he didn’t think so himself. He always thought of himself as average at best. He ran his right hand through his dark brown hair and let out a deep sigh. He leaned closer to the mirror and looked into his hazel eyes. He felt unnerved, it was just like looking into the eyes of a stranger. He turned away from the mirror and walked out of the bathroom, switching off the light as he passed through the door.

    Jason was seventeen and completely alone. He made a living for himself running drugs around the city after school. Some of the other kids hoped to work their way up and make it their career, but what kind of life would that be? He could be killed at any moment for any reason, or for no reason at all.
