The world of Santara floats inside a massive nebula, ruled by Gods and Goddesses. One day, a Goddess called Ilmatar falls down to the ocean of Santara, as "The Curse of the Black Dragon" begins.
Taking place after the events of "The Curse of the Lion People," Ilmatar creates a new Goddess, Loviatar. But as soon as this new goddess enters the world, an evil wizard named Tursas whisks her away and uses her power to bring a dreaded Black Dragon to life.
When Ilmatar finds out that the young Goddess is trapped in the Land of the Dead, she discovers she will do anything she has to do to save her.
Ilmatar begins the hardest journey of her life. Forced to become a mortal to rescue her daughter, Ilmatar endures many trials as she travels across Santara, searching for her stolen child.
Racing against time and the fiery attacks of the Black Dragon, Ilmatar desperately searches for a way to stop the evil Tursas before it's too late.

MELISSA SAARI grew up in Butte, Montana, which is Evel Knievel’s hometown, and Montana is the setting of her romance novel Mystic Lake. She graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a Master of Arts and Literature, with a concentration in screenwriting. Melissa loves animals and has taken care of many cats and dogs, including her two current dogs, Marla and Leo.
