Introduction

When a child is born, parents celebrate the arrival of the new soul in the world without thinking so much about what awaits it on the other side of life. As the child grows up, life challenges begin to surface and the maturing adult acquires rejoicing and disappointing life experiences.

Although humans encounter success and failures in life, their beliefs differ on whether the life’s journey ends on earth, or continues in another form beyond the earthly life. The controversially absurd question has long been the subject of research and philosophical considerations in the religious and scientific worlds. The passing of time has proven that the harder mankind thinks about origin and the final destiny of humanity, the more questions it asks.

The uncertainty about the origin and destiny of humanity, however, is not sustained by lack of revelation. It is the criticality of mankind that questions and tends not to consider the revealed answer. Knowing the origin of the universe and human life is essential for determining a person’s destiny and the purpose of existence.

The Final Destiny of Humanity is a topic so relevant to every breathing soul, because we are all going somewhere. Although some people may have determined what to do with their lives, they still need to know their final destiny. The harmony in creation and the peculiarity of human life points to a capable Originator.

Philosophical examinations and scientific experiments strive and search for the answer to the question of human origin, destiny, and the purpose of existence, but none of these truth-searching instruments yields a definite answer. If the universe and humankind are a product of randomness, humans would do well to surrender their fate to randomness. However, the Creator of the universe and humankind has revealed the answer pertaining to origin, the purpose, and the final destiny of humanity.

I approach the topic of the Final Destiny of Humanity by starting with the origin of the universe and humankind. Then I address the question of the purpose of human existence on earth leading to the final destiny of humanity. In this book, I share the revelations concerning some of the marginalized topics, which are tied to the final destiny of humanity: the Rapture, the Tribulation, the millennium, the heavens, and hell. Just as the origin and the purpose of the universe and humankind were conceived without consultation of human opinion, so is their final destiny determined without human input. The Designer of the universe sovereignly decided the end from the beginning. However, He has made a path that all humans can choose to follow in order to reach a safe destination. Only those who choose a different path get lost.

Rejection and conformity to the imperatives of the Originator determine the different destinations that every individual will reach. While the Creator is neither a dictator nor a democrat, He established the law of cause and effect that sanctions the outcomes of human choices and actions.

Since the law of nature, the universe harmony, and the complexity of human life seem to testify against accidental origin of existence, it is compelling to seek to know the Creator and develop a relationship with him. The Designer of the universe and human existence is also the Holder of the key that unlocks the knowledge of the final destiny.

As a manufacturer perfectly knows the purpose of his product, the Intelligent Designer also knows the purpose of the universe and human existence. The Creator is the ultimate decision-maker about the functions of human life on earth. He is the final Judge of humankind. But his judgment is tempered with love and justice. That is why the frailty of humanity can no longer be an excuse for revolt against his perfect plan of salvation.

The Creator of the universe gave humankind a perfect beginning, free from pain and death, with a guarantee of eternal living dependent on human obedience. The disobedience of humankind to the command of the Creator engendered all kinds of difficulties, leading inevitably to death. While theories and conjectures abound on the afterlife, divine revelations corroborate continued life of a deathless spirit after the separation with the body. Thus the question of the final destiny of humanity is applicable to the destiny of the spiritual immortal self.

The Creator provided a means by which humans can receive eternal life free from misery. Being aware of our wretchedness and inability to conquer sin, God offered his only begotten Son as a redemptive sacrifice to change the final destiny of the entire human race. The final destiny of humankind hinges upon human acceptance or rejection of Jesus Christ, the only Savior.

While humans endeavor to figure out other means of salvation, any humanistic effort through religion, science or various philosophies fall short of redemptive capacity. The Creator, who knows the gravity of sin and determined the standard of holiness, demands a degree of righteousness that human efforts cannot accomplish. As a solution, salvation became a free gift that Jesus Christ delivered through his crucifixion, death and resurrection. Humans can only use faith as a privilege to accept salvation that is determinant of the location of their souls in eternity.

Despite the divergent views about the final destiny of humanity, a reliable source assures human race of two distinct destinations. The Bible, being written under the inspiration of God the Creator, through the Holy Ghost, qualifies as an arbiter in the raging debate about the reality of heaven and hell. The credibility of Jesus’ teachings on the subjects of eternal life should dispel the doubt about the existence of heaven and hell. Clearly, heaven is a place of eternal peace and joy in God’s presence, while hell is a place of eternal damnation.

In the grand scheme of his plans, the Creator will orchestrate an historic event that will collectively precipitate humans into their final destiny, although the separation of the human body and spirit can happen at any point in an individual’s life. The current developments in the geopolitics, the global economy, and natural events increasingly denote the scripturally prophesied signs leading to the Rapture, Tribulation, and the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Studying the Rapture and the cataclysmic events of the Tribulation period is of utmost importance to the generation living in these last of the last days. Now is the time to secure eternity in heaven, because of the sense of urgency imposed by the fluidity in the unfolding prophetic events. Embracing the Savior now simplifies the transition to eternal destiny in heaven, whereas accepting him in the Tribulation will attract enormous persecution. In fact, postponing the surrender of one’s heart to the Savior Jesus until the Tribulation diminishes or even removes the possibility of salvation due to the strong delusion that will invade the earth.

Knowing that we are destined for eternity must stir in us the urge to choose a better destination. The accessibility to heaven is dependent on faith in Jesus Christ but rewards are based on good works. Regardless of life challenges, we must strive to show compassion to all people and be fully engaged in good causes and acts of kindness on which individual heavenly rewards depend.

The Final Destiny of Humanity is a book that is relevant to every living soul on earth, because everyone will surely meet the Creator. Many people are consumed by life challenges, the pursuit of earthly pleasure, happiness and carnal desires in the current world. But life on earth is an insignificant fraction of eternal life that deserves a more rigorous pursuit.

Another persistent question related to human existence is the experience of pain and suffering. God Sovereignly allows sufferings to befall all humans. However, suffering should not be a ground for dismissing the existence of the Creator and his plan of salvation for humanity.

Although suffering stems from the wrong choices that humans make, it is also aggravated by the spiritual warfare orchestrated in the dark world. The end time unleashes unprecedented spiritual warfare because the evil forces will soon be cast away from believers in eternity. The time has come to wield the spiritual authority and deploy the spiritual weapons prescribed to defend the holy cause, defeat the devil, and defuse the great deception and false teachings that are misleading the world and corrupting the Church.

The final destiny of humanity is inescapable and everyone must make a decision about where they want to spend eternity. Whether one leaves this world before or during the imminent Rapture, they can reach heaven by investing their faith in Jesus Christ. I pray that the Lord will speak to you and uncover the depth of the divine revelations in this book, so that your life may be impacted for eternity.

CHAPTER 1

The Quest for Human Origin

Humankind is endowed with a curious spirit that desires to explore and experiment with nature. Over the span of decades, human curiosity has evolved into a vast ambition. Astronomers and astronauts have traversed our immediate surroundings and reached into the outer space of the universe.

Whereas humans have the authority over creation under the sun, their ability to understand the magnitude of the universe is limited. Human ambition to explore the universe has been served partly by sending complex manned and unmanned machines into space. Billions of dollars is spent in the attempt to explore the universe, that in reality may be too complicated to interpret. It is great to hear little children, who are yet learning the rudiments of arithmetic, express their desires to become astronomers. Although many of us have barely understood our neighborhoods, villages, towns, cities, countries and continents, ambitious curiosity has flown humans to the moon, millions of kilometers away.

Credit should be given to scientists, astronomers, and engineers, who work hard to develop the vehicles exploring the universe. Moreover, we should appreciate the useful research that scientists conduct at the International Space Station. The USA, The European Union, China, and Russia have all rolled up their sleeves to continue space exploration. But the question is whether mankind needs to explore the outer space at costs so exorbitant? Human lives, time, and money continue to be spent in the space exploration adventure.

The vastness and complexity of the universe remain a mystery that cannot be deciphered to the point of fully satisfying the ever-growing, inquisitive ambition of humankind. It is estimated that in our galaxy, the Milky Way, there are between one hundred and five hundred billion other suns. And there are billions of other galaxies, some of which are bigger than ours. Although scientists and astronomers deserve commendation for the basic discoveries aiding partial comprehension of the universe, the key question of human origin is unaddressed.

The question of human origin is important because if origin is established, the purpose of human existence would be determined. The existence of a piece of bread may be important, but it is even more important to know the baker who provided the properties making it tasty and essential for human nutrition.

Ignorance about the Artist who intelligently designed and placed humans on earth nullifies the meaning of existence. Philosophers and scientists seeking answers to the question of the universe and human origin have complicated the simple answer. The very opening verse recorded in the book of Genesis provides clues about the origin of everything. It strikes right into the heart of the matter declaring, in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Great thinkers of the world attack creationism. They vehemently defend evolution, pioneered by Charles Darwin. They consider the Big Bang as the genesis of existence.

If the animal race could naturally evolve into humans, the evolution process deemed natural should have continued. I observed the chimpanzees that look the closest to humans in the Democratic Republic of Congo for years. They have never turned into human beings over the course of centuries. They mature and die as chimpanzees.
