About this ebook
AD 2179, the planet Prosperine, Eridanus Constellation, twenty light years from Earth.
Hickory Lace, recently reinstated to the rank of Commander in the Alien Corps, is assigned to investigate the mystic known as the Teacher on the alien planet, Prosperine. Ever since the world emerged from the new Dark Age, the Corps has been searching for evidence of a messiah on remote planets across the universe. The Teacher could be the one they’ve been looking for.
However, the Corps aren’t the only ones interested in Prosperine. Hickory and her team uncover a plot to overthrow the planet’s government by a rebel faction who have joined forces with a battalion of alien soldiers from the non-aligned worlds.
The prize is an incredibly rare fuel source for faster-than-light space travel. The security of Earth and its allies is at risk. Hickory's mission is to find a way to stop the aliens from succeeding and at the same time determine exactly who the Teacher is and what he represents.
Avanaux: A Hickory Lace Adventure is a metaphysical scifi adventure novel, book one of the Prosperine Trilogy.
