HIKING HORROR: ‘I SHOULDN’T BE ALIVE’
After taking a break from her busy life in London, Kiwi-born Claire Nelson was aching for adventure.
In May 2018, the 36-year-old freelance journalist had set out to do a half-day, 10km hike through the famous Joshua Tree National Park in southern California.
