    About the Author

    introduction

A child lives through play, and toys are his world.

A child learns and develops his causal thinking by playing, as ho begins to recognize cause and effect by the process of repeated patterns of play.

But playing isn’t limited to children. Adults enjoy it too, especially in light of the constantly growing demands of working and everyday life. Adults learn by playing with toys and are thereby able to relax in a different way.

    Preface

This book is dedicated to a toy that is known all over the world as Yo-Yo. However few people know what can actually be done with it. The Yo-Yo tricks taught in this book are intended to popularize the Yo-Yo and put an end to its time in the shadows. I underestimated the Yo-Yo because of its simplicity until I discovered the possibilities that the modern freewheeling Yo-Yo has to offer. Now I carry at least one of these spinning gadgets around with me everywhere I go.
