Her first novel in the Cornwall and Redfern series, Corpse Flower, won the Unhanged Arthur Ellis Award in 2010, and her first novel, Cheat the Hangman, won the 2012 Bony Blithe Award. Gloria lives in Guelph, Ontario.

The characters were humorous. The police chief Neil Redfern and his girlfriend Bliss who does not take crap from anyone . She wanted to help solve the various murders that occur all based around a disappearance from the high school prom. A very well written story and likeable characters.I received this book in exchange for an honest review
