Alfred Nash is the town doctor. The two must join forces to help save the town from a group of vicious raiders who have murdered their mutual friend in front of his family.
They turn from defending heroes to escaping prisoners as they’re taken to the headquarters of Colin Romilda, the leader of the raiders. Things take a very shocking turn when they begin executing their plan for escape.

This book is the introduction to the Reversion Universe, and focuses on the small budding town of New Hope. The citizens ward off bands of raiders and try to coexist peacefully, until one man kills a raider in self-defense. The town begins to be terrorized by the rest of the group until the heroes are captured and taken as slaves back to the headquarters of the vicious bandits. The review will have to be cut short there, as to not spoil any more.
