Kara Allen is an emerging writer born and raised in Fremantle, Western Australia. She is a 2014 Creative Writing graduate of Edith Cowan University. Her fiction and poetry have appeared in Edith Cowan University’s Creative Arts Exhibition Catalogue (2013) and Graduate Show (2014), and Applecross Senior High School’s annual poetry magazine Primo Lux. Her short story, Unverletzt, placed third in the Talus Prize competition (2014).
