About this ebook
Hasn't anyone learned not to have a haunted house around Halloween? Be careful who you let in. In with the good, in with the bad. Maybe, the blood on the walls and floors is real. Sometimes, the killers inside are real.

You ready for this,
Dyan Perry asked, with a look of already building suspense and near fear written on her face as she grabbed the hand of her boyfriend, Kip, using her other hand to gently tuck her falling, blonde hair back under her hat. It was far too windy for Dyan’s taste, and she couldn’t wait to get inside.
Yep. Let’s do this,
Kip happily exclaimed, giving Dyan’s hand a hard squeeze, hard enough to send a momentary shockwave through it.
They were preparing to enter Death’s Lair, the new attraction in town, already slated to be the most intense Halloween go-to place in the entire region. The word from everyone that had already been there was that the place was designed well enough to possibly cause seizures and leave its guests screaming to get out, some turning back before they reached the halfway point.
It didn’t look all that frightening, Dyan thought. Surely, it could not be as bad as people said. It just looked like an old, dilapidated house with some skulls littering the yard directly in front of the porch. Dyan, however, knew that she really had to hand it to whoever had designed the place. The skulls looked shockingly real. If they were trying to create a strange foreboding feeling for all who entered, they had succeeded. Other than the skulls, the dim and almost non-existent lighting, and the creaking of the stairs as people climbed, there wasn’t much of anything to make note of, at least, not that Dyan noticed.
Dyan felt more and more uneasy as the ascended each step, but she had no idea why. As she and Kip made their way through the front door, they were quickly greeted by someone in a Grim Reaper costume, promptly taking their money and bidding them to take a right immediately after departing company from him.
Whoo, Babe, a Grim Reaper,
Dyan jokingly pointed out, gripping Kip’s hand. Hold me.
Yeah. Yeah,
Kip said, slightly annoyed. Just do this for me. Ok? I know it seems cheesy right now, but it’ll get better.
Meanwhile, at the other end of the complex, Mary Taylor had just finished venturing through the entirety of it all and was readying herself to leave. Mary had always enjoyed scary things. She couldn’t get enough of them, and she had instilled the same love in her small daughter, Tiffany. Tiffany was old enough to understand much of what she had seen but still young enough to have to hold onto her mother’s hand the whole
