BUSINESS IS BUSINESS

CHAPTER 1

JIMMY

Jimmy Mason stood in his hotel suite staring out the window at the beautiful night view that New York City had to offer. He was dressed in a navy blue tailored Armani suit. In one hand was a glass of Cîroc and in the other was a 9mm. Gathered in the room along with Jimmy was his driver-slash-bodyguard, Big Foot. He got the name Big Foot because he was a huge man with a quick temper and a bad attitude. If you were a friend or family of Big Foot, he was one of the nicest people that one would ever meet. But if you were an enemy of the big man, he would become your worst nightmare.

Jimmy downed his drink and quickly poured himself another shot when he heard a loud knock at the door. He looked over at Big Foot and nodded letting him know it was okay for him to answer the door. Big Foot opened the door and stepped to the side as two rough looking men entered the room.

Fuck who told me, is it true? Jimmy barked aiming his 9mm at, Malcolm’s head.

The Mason family has been nothing but good to me I would never do something like that, Malcolm said with a frightened look on his face. He had been getting supplied by the Mason family for years and knew exactly how they dealt with a problem. Your father, Derrick Mason was the one who gave me my start out here in these streets.

Jimmy held his 9mm aimed at, Malcolm’s head when he heard another knock at
