About this ebook

Wanted: Adventurous, open–minded man willing to try…anything…

As a popular sex blogger, Beatriz gets paid to have orgasms. So being on deadline the week of her sister's wedding isn't as rough as it sounds. There's just one hitch: Bea's assignment is to write a review of a sex position manual, but she doesn't have a plus–one to play with.

The good news: Ben, the one who got away back in college, is also attending stag–and he's as temptingly gorgeous as ever.

The bad news: Ben turned down Bea's offer of graduation–night sex five years ago.

The best news: He's not planning on making the same mistake twice….

*I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review*I believe this is the first time I give a novela a five star classification but, despite its reduced number of pages, “Misbehaving” checked all my boxes!Right from the start I realized the probability of me loving this story was very high when the author mentions in the introduction that it is a modern and erotic retelling of Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing”. Now, I have never read the play, but I have seen the movie and I LOVE the story. I was very curious and expectant. And then the author starts with the following dedication: “With apologies to the Bard...”It had to be good, right? Thankfully it was, and “Misbehaving” is a funny and very sexy story about two people who love each other but haven’t been able to make it because of misunderstandings and interferences from other people. And they are constantly picking on each other, something that is always a pleasure for me to read in romances.Bea is a sexual education blogger. Yes, her blog is about sex and everything sex-related, including sex products and sex books' reviews. When Bea is getting ready to leave for her sister’s wedding, her editor calls and asks that she’ll at least send him a book review during the week she’ll be away. Bea eventually agrees, picks the first envelope on her review pile and leaves the house. And only opens the envelope on the taxi. And starts to panic...Because the book she picked up is a sexual positions manual and it will be impossible for her to review it without at least experimenting some of the positions... Which means she’ll have to find between her sister's wedding guests someone willing to help her.Well, as it turns out, one of the guests is Ben, an old college colleague of both her sister and her future brother-in-law, and for whom Bea had a serious crush during her first year of college, but who turned her down. And who Bea was convinced would not be coming to the wedding...But Ben was also convinced that Bea wasn't coming to the wedding and, in reality, he never got over her. In fact, he’s a devoted reader of her blog. And it wasn't because he didn't like her that he rejected her...And when Ben discovers the task that Bea has to accomplish he obviously volunteers to help. And he’s determined to not repeat the errors of his past! The whole story is very funny, with all the characters' mishaps and reactions (the groom’s reaction to a certain event is particularly hilarious...) and, in fact, I was able to perceive the Bard’s inspiration and homage. The sex scenes are pretty scorching and I really appreciated the author’s approach to sex, with no tabus nor complexes, and seen as something normal and healthy. The scenes between Ben and Bea are filled with humor and mutual respect and that was refreshing to read. I loved it!
