About this ebook
I had everything a woman could want
My husband, James. The house on the lake.
My life. Our perfect life.
And then Alex came to visit.
The first time I saw my husband's best friend, I didn't like him. Didn't like how James changed when he was around, didn't like how his penetrating eyes followed me everywhere.
But that didn't stop me from wanting him. And, surprisingly, James didn't seem to mind.
It was meant to be fun. Something the three of us shared for those hot summer weeks Alex stayed with us. Nobody was supposed to fall in or out of love. I didn't need another man, not even one who oozed sex like honey and knew all the secrets I didn't know, the secrets my husband hadn't shared. After all, we had a perfect life.
And I loved my husband.
But I wasn't the only one.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Loved this book! I think Megan Hart has a new follower! I can't wait to get my hands on a couple more of her books. This was just a little different than Deeper, and though I loved this one, it still wasn't as good as Deeper. This book was also so much more than I expected. It wasn't just threesome smut, but it had feelings and meaning. There was so much going on between Anne and James, but also between James and Alex, and Alex and Anne. The triangle had so much sensuality! It was classy and well written for this type of book. I loved Alex. He was the bad boy that every girl wants. I would have liked to have had him even more developed than he was, but as it was, it kept him as the mystery partner. The one with the shadows in his eyes and soul. So, while not developed as much as I wanted, it actually worked well and was most likely done on purpose. Anne and James have an amazing marriage. Even though there is some tension and they bring another man into the relationship, it's one that I'm sure most people dream of. They communicate very well and are able to share their feelings with each other while not hurting the other. It was awesome to read about. Can't wait to pick my next Hart book!
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5The story was good, the plot was inventive and I was really getting into it. The problems that arose with the situation described felt real and not some outlandish situation that could never happen. And then, ladies and gentlemen, we have that ending. WTF?! The three stars I gave were for the book up until the half. The two stars missing are for the HORRIBLE ending.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I sure got wrapped up in this erotic story. All kinds of family dynamics and baggage explored. A bit surprised by the ending and wanting more. Anne and James had the perfect marriage until his best friend Alex shows up.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5A sexy book with, again, some lovely writing but the ending wasn't satisfying for me and it wasn't poignant either. In the end, I didn't love the story arc, even though I loved other things about the book. You get the sense early on that there is no happy ending here. However, by the end, I wasn't confident that James and Anne were okay and Alex's motivations were a bit of a mystery still. There is a Spice Brief which tells the story from Alex's POV and I might pick it up one of these days. I'm curious to know Alex better but I'm not sure it can make me feel differently about the story overall.

Ok.. I really liked the erotic scenes in this novel, but to be honest I skipped through the rest of the scenes. I really don't care to read about family/sibling drama right after a 3-way. But the relationship and scenes between the main characters was special. I found myself loving both men and not wanting to let them go. I think Megan Heart is a wonderful writer, but this one just fell short for me. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Megan Hart continues to blow me away with her combination of characterization and chemistry. Certainly the best menage book I've ever read, her characters don't skim through life without consequences. Good and bad, but always passionate, Alex and Jamie and Anne are flawed but charismatic. I felt invested in their lives, which makes their romance all the more compelling. Poor Alex... I read his story out of order, I am looking forward to reading it with a new perspective on what happened at the lake that summer.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This was the first book I read by Megan Hart. Although I have had"Dirty" on my shelves for as long as I have had my Kindle, I didn't get around to reading it. It wasn't unil I read a short stoy she added to an anthology (can't remember which one), that I realized her books should be given more consideration. Having a library card, I downloaded this book"Tempted" thinking it would be a standard mmf menaged triology...I guess when I saw the series being the same (Alex Kennedy) I thought it would just be an ARC with this trio.
Not an ARC, the series is named Alex Kennedy because although this book isn't in his POV, he only appears in this particular book and then there are others that he appears in without the same characters as this one.I will have to read them. This one is more character driven and although it has hot sex scenes, they are truly about moving the plot forward and not completely filled with "inspiring" commentary. Not to say that there isn't steam..it's really, really, hot.It is also a book that you won't feel guilty reading. I actually had to look up a few of the words Megan used in her descritive writing. I have a tremendous vocabulary as it is, but I almost think she had a thesaurous when I rea" - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Tempted is the first novel in the Alex Kennedy series. Tempted is good on so many stirring levels. Willing voyeurism, exhibitionism and ménage a trois, though it’s more about consequences, responsiveness, and enthralling ties.
Anne and James have what is a good marriage. James and Alex have been best friends since they were young. Alex and Anne have never met due to a falling out that Alex and James had in college and the fact that Alex has lived in Singapore all these years. Then on day, when Alex calls James, he invites him to stay for the summer. Then one night the three of them decide to take their relationship to the next level and give into the sexual tension that has been filling the air. The three of them take each other to bed, one night then turns into the whole summer. They choose to let fantasy become reality. But what is supposed to be a summer of mindless passion, no strings attached, gets complicated as emotions and hearts become involved and feelings change.
Overall, I really enjoyed this novel, it was very entertaining and I could not put it down, I stayed up late to read it, I just had to know what happened next! I highly recommend it.
Happy Reading!
