About this ebook
Taking place eleven years after Greyshio and Demeseus’s time, the elders of Elysium have been making preparations to thwart Derexen’s ambitions. Before their trump card is revealed and their enemy can gain anymore power from beneath them, a trap is laid in hopes to bait their nemesis.
With the aid of a chosen citizen from the light realm, in hopes of bringing a preemptive end to a growing threat, Titania must gain the trust of the enemy while extorting what she can from him in little time. But this journey proved to be more than she expected when the supposed conquering demon of the realms was not as she anticipated.
In this short tale, watch as Titania is forced to choose between betrayal and deceit while understanding where her role in this larger plot places her.
Charles Lee
Charles Lee has always been a fan of stories with greater meaning than what the surface portrays. His love for profound fantasy began at a young age. His growing interest in thought-provoking stories ranged from a gamut of different areas of literature. These are experiences he’s cherished and evolved with for over a decade. It’s his key drive for creating compelling, unique, philosophical stories. When he decided to begin his own novel, The Way To Dawn, he originally had no intention of pursuing writing as a career. But when he fell in love with his own characters, he became inspired. He was so proud of his creations that he wanted to share this part of himself with others. In no time, writing soon became more than just his way of expression, it became his wings.

Chapter Four – I am Titania
There was a time when duty over self was the governing law I moved by. To serve, not to question. To obey, not to feel. But I was always too much of a free thinker to be truly one with that creed.
Those laws were just guidelines I claimed to follow under their sky, however brief it was. But I could not. Perhaps I never really knew what it meant to be of worth to the cause. No cause, but my own…
However, I love my realm. I love its people. I support free living in this ongoing pursuit of life. Elysium has been for as long as I’ve ever known it to be, the divine light that keeps all in balance. Without our leaders, every realm would be in endless turmoil. Armagevion, Terra, they would not be able to last without the hand of our rulers.
That is why I didn’t turn down the invitation handed to me. Trusted by our world’s leaders, it is I who’d been chosen to safeguard our realm.
But you know what I never foresaw? What the world through the eyes of another could look like. You can fathom. You can speculate. But not like this. There’s a helpless frailty that will either wake you up inside or turn you out. It’s a feeling you cannot ignore. It forever changes you, something I’m sure he experienced at some point…
Maybe it wasn’t so much of a hard thing for me since I was just a lottery. I wasn’t brought up my entire life for that one moment, just given a mission from the many others looking to do the same. But even if it was just chance, I feel my intervention was something that needed to happen. It was fated.
Sounds dramatic, doesn’t it? Maybe even ridiculous. Then you may be what I once was. No. What I pretended to be. I acted. I tried. But for you, this may actually be who you really are. And if so, my story is something you need to know. I’ll let you decide. I’ll let you decide whether not my actions were just. For this was my enlightenment, as Titania of the distant skies…
Yeah, has a nice ring to it, huh? Man, wish I thought of it.
Titania of the Distant Skies
Chapter One
Walking down blue and white marble halls with darkened windows to the right, and doors to the left, two armored guardsmen walked with deadpan expressions from beneath their tinted red visors. Their red helmets had two ear-like points at the corners of their helmets, both with hair a little past the napes of their necks. One had off-white hair, and the other with brown hair.
Their armor was of red plating, except around the golden edgings of the suit. The gold was finely welded in the areas where human muscle indention occurs.
They marched on across the large, white tiled floor with a blue tile in the middle after every six. Side by side, almost robotically, they do not stray to observe their surroundings.
Behind them was a tall, muscular young woman, over two thirds smaller than a male bodybuilder, but with a thinner, more flexible frame. While slowly looking around the halls, she walked with a harmless smirk on her face, showing off the strong curves along her oral commissure.
Above average shoulder length, her white hair with black ends was tied back in a pony tail using a black burette, exposing the shaven sides around her head. The woman was of fair-skin with the creamiest shade of brown blending into her smooth complexion.
Dressed casually, as if to have just come from the gym, the sweat, moistened woman wore a large sports bra, exposing her rock-like abdominals and chiseled obliques. Below her wide waistline were tight, black and white shorts, exposing her thick, greatly toned legs.
Despite her muscular build, the woman had not lost the things that make her femininity so alluring. If anything, her ample hips and bust has reached higher heights because of her superior physique. Her ethereal, sapphire irises only enhance her bold features.
Walking barefoot, she confidently moved with the guards to their destination. Suddenly, the guardsmen stop. She nearly walked into them before looking to her left. The guards do not turn, just stood perfectly still. The woman glanced at the door and inched to the right with the guards doing the same. She hopped to her right and the guards quickly moved in her path.
Okay, okay, I get it,
she said with a laid-back attitude. You guys could’ve just said this was it.
She entered the white, marble themed room where four men wearing white and gold robes were sitting at a long dining table. On each of their robes were gold semicircles in a vertical row, one on each half of the robe. The pattern shifted from half gold to the left, then half gold to the right for the following semicircle. A gold silk stole hung freely from around their
