About this ebook
ABOUT THIS NOVEL
Jessica, Chrissy and the reverend's daughter - Azalea share more than just a room at Vayle University. What else they share is the desire to be seen, respected and relevant.
In one of their usual moments of desperation, fortune comes their way, so does a sudden squall of wind. Everyone at Vayle is now talking about the hottest trio in college, the way how they divert the attention from the two most envied females -Tamara and Maddie, and in the process, winning the intense desire of the most worthy guy of Vayle University – Ron Laufters. Is it their new clothes, their new way of life or is it simply, their spanking new red jeep?
Could all of this be worth it when the repayment would be an exchange program?
Let's just say that this is NOT the type of exchange program for good college girls or even girls from good homes, with good parents.
Worse, things could seriously get out of control, if any part of the repayment arrangement is breached.
Did we mention, that strange things could happen too?

Azalea entered the doorway of the club; the lights immediately dimmed. She couldn't help but notice the head of a deer that hung as an ornament from the walls that suddenly appeared dark. She kind of freaked out; it kind of looked like the head of a real deer and had what appeared to be red blood stain.
"I guess Zo is a hunter," she thought.
She coughed a little; her lungs were slightly perturbed by the smoke which accompanied the smell of Hispanic tobacco. She noticed the oval shaped table; it had been set for at least four guests – a bottle of vintage French wine chilling in a bucket, 4 wine glasses already filled, grapes, and four chairs.
Hello...hello! Anyone here?
It was obvious that there was going to be a party but it appeared as if she was the only guest. She looked around, she was sure there was nobody in the sparsely furnished building. She looked behind her; he was there.
Was he always there watching me? She wondered. She was surprised and nervous but she took some solace in the fact that he looked great.
––––––––
She looked at the way his black jacket suit hugged his firm structure. She thought his bow tie and white shirt made him look jim-dandy. She admired his well shined black designer shoes and his bow-legged posture.
Gosh, he's handsome as ever! she thought.
––––––––
Flashing his hair behind his shoulders, he stared at her as if she was the prettiest nubile he has ever seen.
She looked at his greyish blue eyes; from them she discerned the intrigue, the passion, the lust that boiled from his heart. She followed the movements of his eyes and where they focused the most – on her legs, hardly covered by her red cocktail dress. The effect she had on him was so quite obvious, the only thing that ran through her mind was her favorite chocolate bar. The table was set for at least four but he definitely didn't mind her being the only guest.
He stared dangerously at her.
She felt like a wild deer being mesmerized by a fierce hunter. She felt his desire; he felt her love. Azalea knew this would be nothing like prom night. She knew this would be dangerous love – a game she was willing to play.
Azalea, you look stunning; you are a rare ruby.
Thanks Zo. Why are there four chairs at our table?
she questioned. As far as she was concerned any other person would be a crowd.
––––––––
Zo, why is there only one guest?
She turned as she heard the heavy footsteps. Her heart sank. There was to be at least one other guest. She recognized his face. It was the bloke who drove the wrecker that towed away Jessica's broken down car. He was wearing his wrecker hat even though he had his bow tie on.
But...
Zo, don't mess with me, we expected three guests; this is just a third of the payment.
Mister, who are you?
Azalea stood puzzled...

BOOK REVIEW
––––––––
Talk about déjà vu! This novel took me back in time – as far back as secondary school where popularity contests were oh so common. Jocks back in the days would walk around like cockerels, so proud to be centers of attention while girls would rival each other for their affection.
Mark Edwards captured this so beautifully that one has to wonder if he was himself an instigator of such rows in his days. While I may never know about that, one thing is clear, and it is that he knows how to take a situation and give it the familiar twist that will make someone say, I can relate to that.
This makes very interesting reading but it can also serve as a warning to those who cannot see pass the popularity crown. This novel at times causes one to shake the finger and say, Don’t you dare go there!
However, I admire the way Mr. Mark Edwards tastefully and skillfully manoeuvres things to keep us on the edge of our seats while we still have one eye open because we just need to know what happens next. Did she? Did he? Did they? How? Who? What? You will just have to find answers for yourselves by experiencing the same nail-biting
