About this ebook
Stephen Devereux is convinced that the boogeyman, famous for targeting sleep-deprived souls, is out to get him. After all, it did put his older brother in a wheelchair a few months ago, and now that Stephen's been missing so much sleep, he's the perfect victim. The storm is breaking outside, and Stephen is getting tired. Will he find a way to stay awake, or suffer the wrath of a childhood fable?

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This was a very well written, suspenseful story, and I was able to read it without a paid-account. This is the second story I've read by Mr. Michael, as I read 'The Patient' earlier this week (also for free). Like 'The Patient', this story delivers all the thrills you expect from a psychological thriller.
I really enjoyed this story. For a horror story, it was actually quite meaningful, as well. The author does a great job with characterization, and the descriptions are vivid and detailed, without taking away from what's going on.
I think I'm a fan of K. Michael!
