    As someone who has taken an active interest in the stock market in recent years, for a range of reasons, I’ve noticed an apparent gap in readily available and relevant information in the market place about a particular group of stocks—that is those stocks that show exceptional outperformance in the growth of their stock price, relative to the market overall.

    Therefore, the intention of this book is to provide quantifiable data and related information (that is, information which is objectively ascertainable and readily accessible) and associated analysis about particular stocks that are listed on a number of selected global stock exchanges.

    In particular, this book identifies and analyses some 120 stocks that have experienced similar growth in their stock prices to businesses like Google, Apple, Amazon and Microsoft.

    However, this book is not a primer in finance or econometrics, nor is it intended to be a textbook of any sort. And while I do go to some lengths on occasions to provide a sufficient level
