He distinguished of the African rhinoceroses through the fact that he only has one horn towards the peak of the snout, instead of two. His waistline is somewhat reduced than the one of the Northern White rhinoceros, the length of the body being of 3,50 -4,25 m, of which the tail has 0,70 m.
