Reviews for The Complex, Prelude
1 rating1 review
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Great introduction to the series! Because of this introduction, I'm eagerly anticipating the next installment. So much, in fact, that I visited the author's website (listed in the back of the book) and signed up for updates. It looks like the next part is due out this month, and I can't wait to get my hands on it.
The descriptions are vivid, and the story intense. Anyone who is a fan of science fiction, horror, thrillers, and/or suspense should get a nice little thrill out of this short read!

I would have opened my right eye as well if I could have, but it was clear I was on something that had recently started to lose its potency.
I'm in a hospital bed. My thoughts bounced off the walls in my head. What had I done to myself to end up here? Had I been in an accident? Again, the words bounded between my cold, hard skull and the soft tissue of my brain. What happened?
For the most part, I was numb, and moving in any way didn't appear to be an option. I felt like a
