Jasmine

"I brought sand to the beach ‘cause my beach is better

You can keep ya beach cause that beach whatever"

I sang along with Jay-Z while I was cruising on the 405 freeway. The thing about me was that I had the prettiest honey brown eyes that caught your attention the moment you looked into them. I was a bad bitch. Standing at only 5’3 I had curly hair and a brown complexion. I had a slim-thick body and definitely was a head turner. At only 19 years old I was a boss and running my own thing. I always had a go-getter" mentality, mainly because my mom always tried to shape me into a housewife. At a young age I realized that I didn’t want to stay home and have babies and only take care of the house. I was addicted to the thrill of life. I loved rocking my own shit and walking into stores buying whatever I liked with cash because I had it like that. I was going to college at the University of Southern California and running my own business. I owned Luscious Hair Extensions and had a store on Melrose and a website that shipped worldwide. I was racking up stacks at the end of each month for it to just be me and my workers at the store. We all received a fat paycheck every week. I kept my head on my shoulders and remained focused so I could stay on top. The only thing that I was missing was a male companion. It wasn’t that I couldn't get one; just that none of them were my caliber. Every time I met someone new, they either were too cocky or wasn’t worth shit. I’m not big headed; I’m humble and understood that not everybody was blessed like me. But it was upsetting when a nigga needed for me to pay his bills and put up with his baby mama drama. I didn’t have time for that shit. What made me so different was the fact that I was still a virgin, raw and untouched. I told myself that I’d wait until I got married or fell in love. Every nigga I’d been with tried to have sex with me. Some even took it as far as telling people they had me bent over, but that’s the type of shit little niggas did. I wanted a real man.

It was Friday night and I decided on going out to dinner with my childhood best friend Aaliyah. We chose to meet up at Red Lobster. As we were being seated, I caught eyes with this sexy 6’4" chocolate man who resembled Morris Chestnut in his younger days. I couldn't help but to smile back when I saw him looking. I had to tell myself0 This man is sexy as fuck.

Fix your face, bitch. You looking real thirsty! Aaliyah said, laughing. I laughed it off but I was actually mesmerized by his demeanor. Everything about him screamed boss.

Anyways, how was your day, bestie? I asked Aaliyah.

It was actually a good day at the store. It's time to do inventory, though. We almost ran out of hair. Today was a real busy day, Aaliyah said.

Good. That's what I love to hear. That means money is rolling in, I said happily and did a quick silly dance.

Aaliyah gasped and whispered, Jas! Sexy is coming over here. Be ready! I sat there acting as if I didn’t have a care in the world but inside I was nervous as hell! It was a weird feeling that came over me. It was something about this man that had my head gone already and I didn’t even know his name.

Jared

I was looking at this bad ass shawty and her friend walking into Red Lobster. I didn't stop looking because I didn’t give a fuck. I wanted her to see me looking at her. The whole time I was watching I was planning how I was gonna approach her when I got to her table. When she was walking she looked back at me and smiled. I automatically had to adjust myself because a nigga was feeling hard already. Shawty bad as fuck, I thought to myself.

My brother, Donte, was laughing until his dumb ass couldn't breathe. Damn, bruh, that broad got you slipping. I shot him a look of death that said don't fuck with me. I focused my attention back to my brother, mainly because there was a reason why he called me up there in the first place.

Shut the fuck up, Tay. So what was so important you couldn't tell me over the phone? I asked with concern.

Well, I got good news and bad news. I'll start off with the bad news first. Javier is talking about cutting back on our packages if we don't pay more. That shit don't make no sense. We already pay a lot. On top of that, we pay on time, so I told him we not doing business no more with him. Good news is that I have a meeting set up with Ricardo, a Colombian connect. I heard his shit is pure gold and he's giving us 20 keys for 300 large. Instantly I got stressed out.

I don’t play when it comes to my money. With us being without a connect, that means money not coming in and our product will start running low eventually.

When is the meeting? And where did you find this nigga? I definitely had to ask.

On Thursday. I use to be in jail with one of his soldiers and I hit him up the other day and told him to get us a meeting and he came through with it, he said proudly.

Alright, Donte. We'll meet up at the spot on 179th and bring the crew. Monday we have to discuss this with everybody, I said, giving instructions. I may have been the younger brother but I’d always been running shit. At 23 I could handle my own; I owned a legit tattoo shop and a barbershop, as well as a big mansion. I was definitely a boss! I started out on the block hustling when I was 14. I've always been money motivated. When me and Donte’s dad walked out on us when were young, I was only 12 years old. I told myself that I’d never walk out on my wife. I hated to see how my mom struggled to raise two boys. I did everything I could to help her. My mom is my rock, but she wouldn't take no handouts. When I turned 14 I realized that my mom was starting to get sick and she couldn't handle everything all on her own. I started hustling on the blocks first, and then I started selling weed at school. I was making money and helping my mom until I got caught by the police one day at school and got sent to juvenile when I was 17, and then to county when I turned 18. I wasn't released until I was 19 and the whole time I was locked up I made myself a promise that when I got out of that hell hole I wasn't going back. By 21 I owned the blocks of South Central. I had corners on lock everywhere. I had so much money that I lost count. I kept my mom flourished with money and nothing but the best, but it only brought on haters and gold-digging, money-hungry hos.

My mind went back to the sexy lady at the table. I had to get up to go check her out.

Aaliyah

Since me and Jas had been in the Red Lobster, we’d been getting approached. Already three dudes had come to the table tryna holla, and we hadn’t ordered our food yet! Jasmine was a bad bitch but I could hold my own, too. I worked as the manager of Luscious Hair Extensions. I’m on the skinny side with a light skin complexion, 5’5, with perky 30C breasts. My long 28 Brazilian weave flowed down my back and all the niggas loved it. You know how they say birds of a feather flock together, Well, bad bitches flock together, too. This Morris Chestnut look-alike had been on our bumper since we walked in. I was gonna have to get his name and number before we left.

Jasmine

What's up, beautiful? I couldn't help but come over here and get your name, Jared said.

I was grinning from ear to ear as I reached out to shake his hand. Jasmine, but everybody calls me Jas. And your name is?

He took my hand and lifted it up to his lips and kissed it. Jared, but everybody calls me Jay. At that point my panties were soaked and I couldn't contain myself. I couldn't let this man see me knocked off my square, though, so I played it cool.

Nice to meet you, Jared, I smiled, and then he grabbed a seat at the table. Aaliyah and I looked at each other and laughed. We thought it was a big move on his part, but everything about him said he was that nigga.

I spoke first. Jared, I would like you to meet my best friend, Aaliyah.

Hello, Ms. Aaliyah, Jared said.

Hi, Jared, Aaliyah said with a little too much lust in her voice.

Would you ladies mind if me and my brother joined you guys for dinner tonight? he asked with a pouty face.

Not at all, we said in unison. With that being said, Jared walked off in search of his brother. Aaliyah and I patiently waited at the table, talking about how good Jared looked and hoped his brother looked just as good as him. As we finished talking about them Jared approached the table with his brother who was just as sexy as him. Donte was 25 years old, 6'5", and had a smooth, dark skin complexion, a goatee, and long dreads. He dressed like he had money. He looked similar to Jared. He had a baby face. but you could still tell that he was the older one. Jarred introduced his brother to us and he instantly hit it off with Aaliyah. We all ate, drank, talked, and laughed with each other. The entire time, Jared and me were giving each other the look and exchanged numbers with plans on talking after we left the restaurant. Jared paid for the bill and walked me to me to my car while Donte walked Aaliyah to her car. I drove to my condo in Ladera, smiling from ear to ear. When I made it home I texted Jared to let him know that I made it home safely. I went to my bedroom and gathered my clothes for my bubble bath. I sat in the hot tub soaking and I couldn't help but think about Jared. Everything about him was sexy; the way he looked at me, how he smiled at me, and how intelligent he sounded. That was so sexy. It was a turn on. I had to tell myself to calm down. It wasn't nothing serious, because we just met. After I got out the tub I got dressed and lotioned myself, I checked my phone and saw the missed call from Jared. I sat there and debated if I really wanted to talk to him or not. I called him back and waited for him to answer.

What's up, mami? I thought you was asleep, Jared said sexily when he picked up the phone.

No, I just got done taking a bath.

What are you doing right now? he asked

Nothing. Lying in bed trying to find something on TV to watch.

Can you get on FaceTime? he asked. Shit, I didn't hesitate with saying yes. I quickly turned on my Mac laptop and waited for his call.

You look so beautiful right now, Jared told me.

Thank you, I said while blushing. Damn there he was with that complementing shit that had my head gone. It was already hard staring at his sexy ass in his wife beater. Everything in me wanted to tell him to take his shirt off. I had to catch myself quickly because that was not like me…or was it?

I just had to see you again. I barely know you and you already got a soft spot in a niggas heart, he admitted. Boom! There it was. I knew he was feeling me just from the way he kept looking
