Reading My Mind - Nancy C. Jeane

    Foreword

My mom’s unexpected remote viewing journey was exciting to be a part of and to see. The idea that she might be able to help others, who are interested in finding their remote viewing potential, is inspiring. I hope you enjoy her journal…

    Preface

Years ago, after the end of a 23 year marriage, I was attending a special event at the Guadalupe River Ranch in Texas, when a stranger asked me what I did. I replied, I am just a mother. She responded, You are much more than a mother, and for some reason that statement has remained in my memory. I had no idea that I was about to enter a time of great study and training that would open within me a knowing that is within everyone when they are ready to receive it. We are more than our physical bodies. We are unlimited beings.

In honor of my three children, Leigh Ann, Kyle, and Clint, I dedicate this book.

    Nancy Jeane

    Introduction: Reading My Mind

After studying and training in the field of remote viewing, I feel that unlimited knowing lies within every human being when they are ready to be open to it. It is part of the human experience. It is our birthright.

I had a profound experience when I was raising my youngest son, Clint, years ago, that was my first clue that we know things naturally. He and I had gone to a New Year’s Eve church service at the Unity Church in Austin, Texas. There, we experienced a ritual called the burning bowl ceremony, where one would write on paper things that they would like to give up for the coming year. When it was time, the members would go to a burning bowl and put their papers in the bowl to burn. My young son of eleven did not have so much to give up at the time, so he sat in the back of the church and drew pictures on his papers.

After we were back at home, I looked at them and thought how strange it was that he would draw New York City. And then, on his second page, he had drawn war tanks and shooting. My son had never visited New York City before. Even stranger, I kept these pictures and still have them today.

After the September 11, 2001 event in New York City, I remembered these amazing drawings from almost exactly ten years earlier. I think this was my first impression of the ability for one to unknowingly know, which would soon pique my interest to pursue a similar skill called remote viewing.

This journal presents my personal experiences of becoming a professional remote viewer and training with five teachers who were members of the original U.S. Government’s Remote Viewing Program (1972 – 1995).

The following are copies of my son’s 1991 drawings:

    Define: Remote Viewing

There are many definitions of what remote viewing is and one has to be careful that the definition is relative and consistent with the U.S. Government Star Gate Program if they are interested in that specific line of training and terminology.

In his book, Captain of My Ship, Master of My Soul, page 18, Skip Atwater gave a brief statement that remote viewing is:

A perceptual technique based on innate human ability to mentally perceive and describe things separated or blocked by distance, shielding, or even time.

In addition, The International Remote Viewing Association (IRVA) http://www.irva.org, provides these select points about remote viewing, contributed by Paul H. Smith:

-In remote viewing, the viewer not only verbalizes what he or she perceives, but usually also records in writing, in sketches, and sometimes even in three-dimensional modeling the results of the remote viewing episode, or session.

-Remote viewing tends to be more structured than other psi disciplines. In some important varieties of remote viewing, viewers follow specific scripted formats.

-Remote viewing is not used to give psychic readings, tell fortunes, read auras, or other sorts of popular activities of this nature, but is rather a means of doing serious science research and for performing operational-type tasks in criminal investigations, government intelligence work, commercial applications, etc. Many who want to explore their individual human potentials also become interested in it.

The question most often asked about remote viewing is:

How is remote viewing used in the world?

    Several Uses of Remote Viewing

-Assist law enforcement agencies in solving crimes and locating lost people.

-Assist geologists in gathering information about formations, water sources, mineral deposits and other materials deep within the earth.

-Assist medical professionals in pinpointing areas of disease and the real root of illnesses deep within humans and animals.

-Assist financial companies in making good decisions for investment purposes.

-Assist in developing personal sensitivity to one’s surroundings.

-Assist in most any problem solution situation.

During the years that I worked for the public school system, I had a position that required many parent/teacher meetings. I recall my young daughter one morning asking why I was dressed up and I told her, I have to go to a meeting. She replied to me that when she grew up she was going to be a lady that goes to meetings. I thought to myself, Now that is a new occupation category.

Once I was able to retire from the education field, my extremely curious personality seemed to propel into high gear and I substituted going to meetings with going to classes and workshops.

I found myself having a difficult time around 2003, with an empty nest and uncertainty about my future. I decided to enroll in The Monroe Institute Gateway Workshop in Virginia that I had heard about several years earlier. I am not sure why that was the only thing that appealed to me at the time, and to be honest I had no idea what they did there. After several telephone conversations with the registrar who said that I should come without any expectations and be willing to allow the week to unfold as needed for my own personal journey, I signed up and trusted I would be okay.
