This self-publishing venture would never have gotten off the ground without the help of my writing partners, Em Petrova and Lauren Hawkeye. Not only are they fantastic writers, but they’re great friends. Thanks ladies!

    Chapter One

Elsie Burrows knew that coming to the Ecstasy Spa holiday party was a bad idea. She never should have let Drew and Blake talk her into it. Yet there she was, standing in the middle of a stuffy room full of fake people and tacky decorations. To make matters worse, Blake and Drew hadn’t talked to her all evening.

Elsie sipped her vodka punch as she watched the two muscular men on the other side of the room. They both looked like they had just stepped out of a fashion magazine, but then again, they always did.

Drew was tall and broad, with a mass of jet-black hair and just enough five-o’clock shadow to be sexy but not disheveled. Rivers of muscles rippled under his silk suit, tempting all of the women in the room. Blake was slightly larger, with long hair the color of sand and the most attractive green eyes Elsie had ever seen. His smile could melt a glacier, and his laugh would warm the hardest of hearts.

Sometimes Elsie found it difficult to believe that she was friends with the two sex gods. For a shy introvert like her, Blake and Drew were like a dream come true.

When Elsie was first introduced to her sexy coworkers, she was completely tongue-tied. Not only were both men handsome, but smart, funny and compassionate. The outgoing duo soon pulled her out of her shell, and the three of them had become close. Since Elsie didn’t have many friends, the men were a lifeline in an otherwise lonely world.

It wasn’t long before their friendship turned into attraction—at least it did for Elsie. After the first week, she’d lie in bed at night and think about the men’s naked bodies surrounding her, penetrating her. To choose between them would be a crime, and knowing that Drew and Blake worked together to provide the ménage experience for VIP members at the Ecstasy Spa only fueled her fantasies.

She could never act on her secret crush, however. The inevitable rejection would obliterate her already fragile self-esteem. Besides, dating coworkers was off limits. If someone found out, they could all lose their jobs.

Penny for your thoughts, Jenna, one of the other Ecstasy Spa employees, nudged Elsie’s arm and caused some vodka punch to spill on the floor.

Elsie dragged her gaze away from the men to focus on her coworker. Jenna was a casual acquaintance and a gossip. It was widely known that she only thought about herself and how she could climb the corporate ranks at the spa. If she found out that Elsie had a crush on Drew and Blake, then she’d run and tell the owner, Celeste. Celeste would call Drew, Blake and Elsie into the office. At best it would make everything awkward. At worst, Elsie would be told how an emotional attachment to another spa employee was bad business. She’d also be lectured on how dangerous it was to fall for two men who had sex with women to pay the bills.

As if she didn’t know that already. Falling in love with Drew and Blake would only bring her trouble. It was better to keep things as friends. Unfortunately, her heart had other ideas.

Elsie ran her finger around the rim of her glass and tried to think of something to tell Jenna. She needed to cover up her ogling, and she needed to do it fast.

Oh, I’m just thinking about the paint in my living room. I don’t think I picked the right color. Perhaps boring Jenna with redecorating stories would make the nosy gossip go away. Elsie had slowly been redoing her apartment, one room at a time. It was a long and laborious process, but one she enjoyed. She loved how each plain, drab room sprang to life under her care and attention. It gave her joy and satisfaction. It also made her feel as if she was putting her interior design degree to good use.

After months of looking for a design job, Elsie realized she needed to start paying her bills. Working at the Ecstasy Spa did that until she could find a real job doing what she loved.

Yeah, right. Jenna waved her glass of punch in the air. There are all of these gorgeous guys standing around, and you’re thinking about painting your living room.

Busted. Elsie glanced in the direction of Drew and Blake. They stood off to one side, talking with the owner of the company, Celeste. Just yesterday rumors had surfaced that Drew and Blake were dating, and no doubt Celeste was fishing for information.

They’re hot, aren’t they? Jenna asked.

Who? Elsie dragged her attention away from the sex gods in the corner and focused on Jenna.

Drew and Blake. Jenna nodded to where Elsie had been staring. They’re definitely drool-worthy. She took a sip of her drink. Too bad they’re gay.

So the rumors are true? Elsie asked. She had rather hoped that they weren’t. It ruined her fantasy.

Jenna tried to hide a knowing smile. I’m not one to gossip, so let’s just say that I caught them kissing outside the men’s showers.

Really? That was incredibly stupid of them, if it was true. Drew and Blake should have known that someone would have seen and reported them. No wonder Celeste was circling them like a hawk.

Jenna nodded. Can you believe it? I wonder how long it has been going on.

Probably years. It was just her luck to fall for two men who had no interest in women. Elsie took another sip of her punch.

I don’t care if they’re gay, they’re still hot. She made a low whistle. Just think about it, all of that testosterone in the same room. They have some lucky clients. Jenna had a wistful look on her face as she gazed at the men. I’d love to have both of them under my whip.

Elsie rolled her eyes. Every spa employee had a signature service. Jenna was the resident dominatrix and took her job a little too seriously. She wanted everyone under her whip. Her clientele were very different from Elsie’s. Elsie played out teacher or librarian fantasies in her sessions, which meant that most of the time she wore hair buns and got spanked with a ruler.

If they’re gay, then why do they take on only female clients? Elsie asked.

Jenna shrugged. Perhaps they only take women because they know that neither will form any close attachments with them. She took a long sip of her punch. I do know one thing—the men wouldn’t know an attractive woman if they fell over her.

I don’t know. Could Blake and Drew really be dating exclusively? If so, then why did they bother spending so much time with her?

I mean, just look at how close they’re standing next to each other, Jenna said. "It practically screams exclusivity."

Perhaps. Ah hell, with Elsie’s luck, Jenna was probably right. Elsie took another sip of the punch and sighed. Maybe it was her destiny to be alone. No one wanted to date a woman who had sex with men for a living. Elsie couldn’t remember the last time she was in a serious relationship. On some level she was jealous of Drew and Blake. At least they had each other. Elsie was alone.

I hope Celeste fires them for breaking spa policy.

Elsie cast a sideways glance at Jenna. She has no proof that they’re dating.

    She has an eyewitness—me.

Elsie raised her brows at Jenna. Why did she seem so intent on getting rid of Drew and Blake? It didn’t make any sense. Elsie made a mental note to warn the men at the first opportunity.

You saw them kiss. Kissing isn’t necessarily dating.

    In their case it is.

Elsie knew it was useless to argue with Jenna. When the woman had her mind set, there was no swaying her. I think Celeste is in a tough place right now. She can’t afford to lose anyone else.

Perhaps. Jenna shrugged. We shall see, won’t we? She nodded toward the bar. I’m going to refresh my drink. Want anything?

No thanks. Elsie watched Jenna saunter away. Jenna was new but ambitious. After a few clients had given her high praise, Celeste had singled her out as a protégé and given her choice clients. It created a little animosity amongst the staff, but Jenna didn’t seem to mind. She had big plans. No one knew quite what those plans were, however. It made Elsie nervous.

Elsie finished the last of her punch and stared at her empty cup. The conversation between Drew, Blake and Celeste was heating up. What if Jenna was right, and Drew and Blake lost their jobs? Elsie shuddered. The men were her only real friends the spa. The rest were just acquaintances. If they left, her lonely days would become almost unbearable. She’d have no one to fantasize about.

They only think of you as a friend. Despite her growing affections, the men still thought of her as their buddy. Neither had made a pass at her or given her any indication they were interested in her in that way. If they were already in a relationship, then there was no room for her. They had enough problems with Celeste watching them like a hawk and didn’t need Elsie’s infatuation added to the mix.

Elsie blinked and realized that she was staring at the men. Did anyone notice? She slipped her clutch from under her arm and searched for money to get herself another drink. It was going to be a long night.

    *****

Drew watched Celeste walk away and ran his hand over his chin in an effort to hide his frustration. We’re in more trouble than I thought.

No shit. Blake frowned and looked out over the crowded room. We spent entirely too much time talking to that she-demon. Elsie’s probably wondering what’s up.

Drew lowered his arm. Part of me just wants to come clean. I don’t want to have to spend one more day in this farce. The spa had already served its purpose. It had provided both he and Blake with the connections they needed to start their real estate business and sell high-priced condos to the rich. They never would have gotten their business off the ground if it wasn’t for some of their clients.

Tell me about it, Blake said. Why don’t we? The spa holiday party would be the perfect time and place—

We still don’t make quite enough money from the real estate business to live on that alone. If this deal goes through, however...

Things will change, I know. Blake sighed. It feels like we’ve been saying that for months.

And our time is running out. Now that Celeste knows we’re dating, our situation becomes more and more unstable every day.
