About this ebook

Viv has a little book dated 1909 from her grandmother in which are many very old recipes as well as some accounts. She also has her aunt's hand-written recipe books dating back to before World War 2. With recipes collected from her mother, other family members and her friends she has compiled this recipe book.
There is a bit about her family at the beginning, including what she remembers of the way of life from her childhood and her grandmother's recollections. She has also told us who has supplied the recipes in many cases. Included is a recipe invented by her son when he was only 7 years old.
It is interesting to see how our eating has changed over the years.
