I originally picked up Supernatural Hero for my eleven year old son, but wow, was I impressed! Like most parents I read the book before giving it over to him so check for topics I don't want him reading, or that he won't understand. I loved it, and I'm not just saying I loved it for my son, I'm a true fan of Eran Gadot now!

The character development and story line is amazing for a book in this age range. Gadot really takes most of us back to our middle school days. Insecurities, annoying siblings, parents that don't get us, and tragically losing a beloved grandparent.

The most wonderful part of this story is the way the author weaved so many different types of child into one character anyone can connect with. I think boys and girls will relate just fine with Andy our "hero" nerd.

It does have supernatural elements that deal with Andy seeing and interacting with ghosts. It is all lighthearted and nothing scary or overly mature, so it won't upset sensitive children. I think the most powerful element of the story is believing in yourself, setting goals, and working hard to get them. The love story aspect isn't so overwhelming that young boys will shy away, but strong enough that girls will relate.

I really hope Eran Gadot makes this into a series, it has all the makings for a great one. I recommend this for Kids in the 10 , and any adults or parents looking for a touching, fun throwback to their childhood.
