Chapter 1
Introduction
Christian believers read the New Testament scriptures with more intent to change their lives than any other set of written documents in the past 2000 years. It is with good reason that we obsess with every word spoken by our Savior, every act carried out by the apostles, and every epistle sent to the first churches. The New Testament serves as the corner stone of Christendom.
Many of the first century Christian believers either knew Jesus personally during his life and ministry, or they received testimony second hand from one who did. From the time of Jesus’s ministry until now the world has become a better place because of the love, peace, grace, and kindness that Christian believers express through the Holy Spirit. But since the first century Christianity has undergone many changes, some good and some not so good.
With that being said, our Savior did not come to start the multitude of Christian denominations that exist today or to develop a religious system of one day a week
passive participation. The Savior was born, lived, suffered, died, and rose again so we could establish a personal relationship with our creator Elohim, as well as with Himself. Salvation is a free gift, which was accredited to us through faith in Jesus, by which the Holy Spirit (counselor), sent by Elohim, lives in us so we can live a life filled with love for
